Please help with passes!!!!!

I am a WDW expert but I am clueless about DL. Here is my problem. I have a brother who lives in LA. I am going to try to visit him in April or May. I would love to spend 3 days in DL while I visit but I KNOW that he will NOT have this. I may be able to talk him into 2 days but even that is not certain. But lets suppose we did allocate 2 days to DL. Obviously, we would want to go to both parks but it seems that DCA does not take a full day.

I would love to buy 2 day hopper passes but these do not appear to exist. If we bought 3 day hopper passes (at $119?), would we be able to use the last day at a much later date?

What would you do?

You could buy a 2-park hopper Annual Pass and then you could come back as many times as you like. I believe the SoCAL pass for the two parks is $109. (You could have your brother buy them because you have to be a SoCal resident.) There are black-out days, but all in all, it's a bargain!

Here is what I found at mousesavers.com:

2-Day Hopper Pass
This pass is not offered very consistently (probably because Disney is really focused on selling 3-Day Hoppers) and is available only to Disneyland resort hotel guests. In January 2003 it was reported that some guests were offered this pass for $91 for an adult. If you will be in the parks only 2 days, be sure to ask when making hotel reservations -- the 2-Day Hopper Pass only saves you a few bucks, since two 1-day tickets cost $94, but the hopping feature is well worthwhile! In case you haven't read the later post about the So. Cal. resident's salute special, from now until May 14th, So. Cal. residents may purchase a two park pass for the price of one. For $47.00, you may visit DL on one day, DCA on another day (no park hopping). Since your brother lives in L. A. , he would qualify and he may purchase up to five tickets.
