Next month is our time to make our ADR for Sept  !! Each trip we like to mix it up with favorites and new places. I made my initial list of places we have never eaten but would like to try this trip. Clearly, it is a bit long:scared1: ! I would love any feedback on this list...the DON'T MISS IT:lovestruc places... and the STAY AWAY:eek: places. Any help would be greatly appreciated!(our kids will be 5 & 6 if that makes any difference) TIA!:goodvibes

Cape May dinner buffet
Donalds Safari breakfast @ Tusker House
Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package)
Liberty Tree Tavern (for lunch..did the character dinner & didn't like the food:sad2: )
1900 Park Fare for breakfast
The Plaza @ MK
Raglan Road
Marrakesh
Spoodles
Teppan Edo
Yak & Yeti

I really like the plaza its a nice break while in the MK.
I've gotten the turkey sandwich both times I've been there and its declicious!

I have gone to three of your above places mentioned.....We did enjoy Donalds breakfastasaurus......alot of good selections but I dont know what the present breakfast buffet consists of......maybe someone else can tell you on that one.

Hollywood and Vine Pkg is a great buffet....alot of good choices for any type of eaters....we liked the creamy corn bread and the fish was delicious too.

We have tried Marrakeesh but we did not care for that type of food.....it was well prepared and nicely presented but not to our tastes ....that is all...some people will say they hated certain places but may be like us...didnt care for the TYPE of food...

Raglan Road
Marrakesh

These two are both on our must do lists now. We went to Raglan Rd for the first time in Nov and it was so good. We did an late lunch. The fish and chips are really good. When we were back in WDW in Dec. we took my parents and now its on their must do list.
Marakesh - We've gone here the last 4 trips. It's always good. It's not very rushed and the music/dancer is fun to watch. The jasmine green tea is very good. We've never had bad food or service here.

If you have a daughter who is younger than 10, I'd definitely reccomend Marakesh. The belly dancer takes the little girls onto the hardwood dance floor in the middle and teaches them how to belly dance. It made for a great time for DD4 and some awesome pics. The food was decent.

Cape May dinner buffet Good the first two times we went but the last two were not that great. Dont go at the first seating, the food is cold as they start to but it out at 5pm and they do not open until 5:30, saw it for myself

Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package) Terrible food, terrible service, had to wait almost an hour past my adr time, it was around Xmas so there wasnt anywhere else to go

1900 Park Fare for breakfast The loudest, noisiest place we ever ate at, fantastic stawberry soup but the rest was dried out and hard, maybe because we had a later seating? Based on the noise level alone we will not go back

The Plaza @ MK Pretty good sandwiches and great sundaes

Spoodles Went for dinner, it was good and went for breakfast and it was terrible overcooked and greasy

Teppan Edo Always a winner for us!

We loved 1900 Park Fare-there's a nice mix of characters, and the food was good, and we didn't feel rush. I thought it was quieter than Chef Mickey's, but not quiet, obviously.

Cape May dinner buffet We've done this twice--the first time we thought it very good; the second time only fair
Donalds Safari breakfast @ Tusker House Have never done
Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package)We have dined here and each time it has gotten worse--mediocre food which was luke warm at best and took forever to replenish and lousy service and filthy bathrooms
Liberty Tree Tavern (for lunch..did the character dinner & didn't like the food )We really liked lunch here when we went for the first time this past September. We will probably do again
1900 Park Fare for breakfasthave never done
The Plaza @ MKOne of our must dos after three consecutive visits. Love the sandwiches, shakes and sundaes
Raglan RoadHave never done...are trying this year
Marrakeshnever done
Spoodlesnever done
Teppan Edonever done
Yak & Yetinever done

Cape May dinner buffet - we've only done breakfast here

Donalds Safari breakfast @ Tusker House - the old breakfast was our favorite, and I've heard good things about this new one

Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package) - This is a hit or miss place I think, you will find great and bad reviews of it. We have almost always enjoyed it, but sometimes are better than others. Usually they have a nice selection of choices and a very good dessert buffet.

Liberty Tree Tavern (for lunch..did the character dinner & didn't like the food ) - we've only done dinner here

1900 Park Fare for breakfast - we have only done dinner here, and weren't impressed

Marrakesh - We were very impressed with Marrakesh. The food was excellent, as was the service. Dh is the pickiest person I've ever met, and he thouroughly enjoyed his meal here.

Spoodles - You didn't specify breakfast or dinner. We had breakfast at Spoodles and really enjoyed it. The food was quite tasty.

My $.02 - for what it's worth. We did the H&V Fantasmic package on our last trip. The food wasn't very good (I think we're not buffet people as we pretty much disliked all buffets that weren't breakfast). The seats were fantastic though.

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch is awesome! The fried cheese was great (I loved the white cheddar nuggets) and the dessert I got (griddled pound cake) was my favorite at disney so far! I got the sandwich heard round round the world which was fine but doesn't stand out next to the amazing app and dessert. If I was paying OOP I would just skip the entree.

We've done Raglan Road twice. It was very good both times. The menu looked a lot shorter the past time though (last month). This is the only place we have repeated and we would definitely repeat it again.

Thanks to all for your input...I really want to try Marrakesh, but my DH looked at the menu and saw the chicken pie thing with powdered sugar :scared1: That place is now going to be a tough sell for me now.;)

With our kids we need to some meals with their ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo friends. We are thinking of the Chef Mickey's (for the kids) for dinner and trying 1900 Park Fare for breakfast.

I am still trying to decide between Spoodles & Cape May. We are from New England so I am wondering how much we will enjoy the seafood? :confused3

We spend a huge amount of our vacation at the MK so I am trying to decide between LTT or the Plaza for 1 sit down meal there.

Normally @ DTD we do Wolfgang Puck Express (love the pizza:lovestruc ) but I am wondering if we should try Ragland Road for a change? Maybe we should just skip a sit down there and try Earl of Sandwhich (never been there before)

I really appreciate everyones opinions! It helps a LOT! :goodvibes

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch is my family's favorite TS meal of all time! Period! There's something for everyone, it's delicious (Try the pasta or the salad and you HAVE to eat Ooey Gooey cake! *drools*), and it's an amazing price! MUST DO! :cool1:

I love 1900 Park Fare breakfast too. The food's great, the atmosphere is lovely (I love a side trip to the GF! :thumbsup2 ), and I love meeting with Alice and the Mad Hatter. They're awesome!

And I've never been to Wolfgang Puck, but Earl of Sandwich is perhaps one of Disney's best kept secrets. Their food is sooooooo good.

Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package)- Typical buffet seemed to have a good variety. We enjoyed it.

The Plaza @ MK- Nice fresh sandwiches

Marrakesh- Loved it. Was a new experience for us. Really enjoyed the flavors.

From what I can say...

Raglan Road. I'm in love with this place!
H&V has good typical WDW buffet fare. I liked it and might even try it again.

I would also like to try Spoodles in September.

This is where we have dined:

Raglan Road - Our favorite restaurant

Marrakesh - went here last Nov...very loud restaurant and the food was just OK...nothing wowed us...we will not be back. I heard the counter service is better

Spoodles - this place is also loud but not as loud as Marrakesh...good food & sangria ;)

Liberty Tree Tavern
Lunch is fantatic here, great menu.

Raglan Road
Lunch and dinner fantastic here, leave room for dessert.

Marrakesh
Haven't been in a while but has never let us down.

Spoodles
Breakfast pretty good. For dinner it has been a while.

Yak & Yeti
We enjoyed this restaurant and so did the people beside us.
Wonderful potstickers, the duck was excellent. Lo Mein..I like mine woked, but other than that it was delicious.

We've only been to two on your list.

Plaza Restaurant is good for burgers, clubs and ice cream. We usually try to stop there when we visit the MK. We enjoy their club sandwiches. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner. When we have room the ice cream is a great treat.

Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch) - We tried this a few months ago for the first time and will stop back again.

I am still trying to decide between Spoodles & Cape May. We are from New England so I am wondering how much we will enjoy the seafood? :confused3

I've done Cape May dinner twice in the last 2 trips. Very unimpressed. I've heard people from New England say they were disappointed in the 'seafood' offerings there.

Raglan Road is wonderful! The food, the atmosphere and the service all get a :thumbsup2 from us!
