***Please help with Last Minute Trip ***

Oh I hope someone can help. This is totally last minute, for too many reasons to write, and I have no idea where to start.

Other than the on-site places (too expensive sadly) can you pleasetell me what hotels are truly, I mean really and truly the closest to Universal? Either within walking distance or easy on/easy off with our car?

I would be ever so very grateful if you could point me in the right direction, with the names of some places.

There is a Doubletree on Major blvd that is a 10 min walk and Hyatt place on caravan ct that is same walking distance.
I have stayed at the Doubletree and its a nice hotel but nothing fancy and they have free transportation to the parks and the walk is not too bad but you have to cross Kirkman which is pretty busy at times .

I've stayed at the Sheraton Studio City which is about half a mile from US/IOA. Very nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
