Please help with ipod touch 8g price!!

I need to get the ipod touch 8g but I know there must be a good deal out there! After hanging out on the DisBoard for 9 month I refuse to pay full price! Its the only big thing my DH asked for and he was saying it as a joke but I really want to surprise him! He will NEVER expect it!! Please help ASAP! Im going shopping tomorrow! I know that best buy has a $30 gift card but is that instore also??? Please help!! TIA

I've found that Best Buy stores generally price match the website if you ask. Just call before you go.

Apple.com had refurbs for $149 but you can't engrave them. Same warenty, box, etc.

I bought the refurb from apple. They replace the outer shell and package it with new earbuds and paperwork. It comes with the same one year warranty that a new one comes with. It was $149 and came VERY quickly and looks and works great!

I just wanted to chime in that if you have a Discover card - you can redeem your bonus bucks for the Ipod touch, and a ton of other things - they just added a netbook! I got my touch for Christmas this way - they shipped it super quick, but of course we are down to the deadline now.

My expierence with Apple was not the same as yours it took a full 10 days to receive my order which was good because in the mean time I found a better deal on a 32 gig, I got it for $269 from amazon got it in 2 days and no shipping.

the 8 gig is $179 with a $10 amazon giftcard $5 in MP3 downloads and a couple of other things join amazon prime(free trial) get free 2 day shipping.

I just noticed in the CVS flyer that if you purchase 3 AE gift cards you get $10 in CVS extra bucks you can buy any denomination available to get the $10. So that is an option if CVS has something you need you can then use the AE GC to purchase the Touch. you get up to $40 in CVS extra bucks.

so if you take advantage of the amazon deal you will be paying essentially $129 for an 8 gig 3rd generation Touch, you will be out of pocket $179 but have $50 to spend at CVS and amazon

Best buy deal you are out of pocket $199 with a $30 gift cert making it $169

I had to order online and pick up instore the 20 minute pull, to get the internet price.
You can enter the gift card,. I saw SAM's club had them on sale about $168 I think.
I know Walmart had advertised price matching at one time.

I no longer have my CVS circular so I looked it up online using my zip code. I didn't see the extra buck deal. Is it in the extra booklet that comes out? Thanks

I used a 10% off coupon from Targets website and bought it when it was $195 and you got a $15 Target gift card. They are having the same ad going this week. So it was $175.50 with the 10% off then if you subtract the $15 GC you can use later it ends up being $160.50. That was for the 3rd Generation 8 MB one
