We are traveling in October to Orlando, staying off site from 10/5- 10/11. We are arriving by car on 10/4 so we need one night prior and we are staying one night after(10/11-10/12 then drive home.)
We have a lot of Hilton (and HI/priority) points so use for the 2 stays and will earn more.
-I have us booked at Hilton lake Buena Vista by DTD for each night but now wondering, should we instead do Hilton Bonnet Creek for the last night (or both ) since it seems the pool and grounds are great?

The first night, we will be arriving after all night drive, maybe swim, eat and bed. The next day is check out early and IOA.

But the last night, we are leaving time share fairly early, have EP planned that day, along with check into Hilton property.
Sunday we will drive home late afternoon so the day will be swimming (and maybe Cape May breakfast??) Should we do Bonnet creek over the Hilton by DTD so we can enjoy that pool that day before we head home?

Thanks

The pool at Bonnet Creek is much better for kids, etc. than the pool at DTD, but the DTD pool area is a much more "chill"pool area. Bonnet Creek is a newer resort, but the DTD Hilton is well maintained as well. I believe (unless it has changed) that you get Extra Magic Hour benefits at DTD, if that factors into your decision at all. Hope that helps.

Yes, Hilton DTD does have EMH benefit but no EMH we can take advantage of those days. A "chill" pool meaning, quiet and relaxed? The TS we will be at will be very quiet and sort of a lame pool it seems so I would pick more fun! Thanks for the info.

Make sure to factor in the cost of parking. It is $16 at HBC. Also if you have teens that want to walk to downtown Disney , HBC is not so easy as the busses are so slow. However if you are going for their pool I highly recommend HBC. Fantastic lazy river.

Parking at Hilton DTD is 14 and other is 16 but since I am not paying to stay for the entire vacation, its fine.
No teens. We will be driving so no buses this trip. Thanks for the info.
Thanks. I think I may switch. Considering switching the first nights stay closer to US as well. Ah, just when I thought I had it all figured out.

ETA- First night Double tree at Entrance to US since first day is IOA and last night Bonnet creek for epcot day then pool on sunday?

You're welcome. Bonnet Creek is definitely more "fun"...lazy river, zero entry, pool bar/restaurant. I think you'll like it there

Awesome. You are all super helpful. We will be at double tree at universal first night and bonnet creek the last! All booked. Bring on October!

We're staying at the Hilton DTD for the first time next week but have stayed twice at Hilton Bonnet Creek and absolutely love it for the pool and lazy river. It's a great place and would recommend it if you're planning pool time that day. We'd be going there this trip but for availability/cost constraints.

Thank you. Wish we had more time there but looks like we will love it.
Can anyone give me info on their shuttle service? How often or how late? We are doing Epcot on check in day and wonder if we should use shuttle. I'm sure I'll be completely sick if driving all week plus to from nj.
