please help w/ this auto train question?

We (family of 4 + a baby) just upgraded to 2 first class sleeping accomodations that will be next door to each other. My sister and her family (hubby + 2 toddlers) will be traveling on the same train, but are booked in coach. We'd like to share the the accomodations with them by having one adult in each of the sleeping rooms with 2 toddlers in each with the adult. Is this something that we'll be able to do without a problem? I'm afraid to inquire directly to amtrak about it for fear they will say that we can't do it. All the other adults (3) would be in coach. so essentially we're just splitting the cost of the sleepers w/them so that the kids can lie down to sleep. If we can do this, will we be able to meet up w/the other adults in coach to eat and watch the movie?

we usually just go coach from ma. to wash.then to fla. last summer there was a couple that got 1 room and then they would take 1 or 2 kids to lie down, whil 1 parent stayed in the coach section. they said that it worked out good for them, that was in the summer . i think they were from NY. by the time we booked the sleeper was way to exp. im sure you can switch so the kids can lay down, as long as there are not more people than they want in 1 room. plus the rooms are prob. not huge.
