Please help w/ change of reservations

Hi- I just got off w/ Disney to change an existing reservation.
I think I'm out of luck and I'm sooo mad.

We have 1 ressie w/ me, dh,2 dds for 1 week
We have another ressie w/ dd 19, and another dd for another room for 4 days of that same week. Both at Pop Century they said they would try to put the rooms near eachother - so far so good.

Now fast forward- 4 months and my 19 year old can't come anymore w/ her school schedule. But my brother has decided to take her place. Great - Except for the fact that I can't switch them on the reservation. And there is no openings showing for Pop or any other value resorts for this time period.
I'm afraid to cancel the existing res. w/o a new one opening up. They won't just switch the info. I BEGGED!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Whose name is on the reservation? If you booked both rooms under your name then I say just leave it.

We had to put 1 room in my dh's name and the other room in my dd's name. We had a dining pck w/ours and my older 2 dd's are not on the plan. They will only be staying 4 days. We are there for 8.

Try calling back. I'm guessing another CM might be able to make this work.

If the res is on you DD's name have her call and see about just switching the res over to whomever. If they say they can't, ask to speak to a Guest Services agent.

Update- I did call back and spoke w/ someone else. Same thing...I ended up cancelling the res. and booking a new one under my brothers name. I was afraid to take the chance of it not being available, but we got it.

One more thing- When I gave them my bros' info., I gave them my address..since we will be leaving from my house and I wanted all the info and ME tags sent here. (He lives out of state) I just realized when he checks in, he will have his home address on his license (not ours). Will this be a problem?

I don't think it will be an issue. But you will probably get a lot of mail addressed to him at your residence though. He or you might be ticked if he gets a PIN postcard at your address.
