We are going in Feb and have the following TS meals booked already:

Tusker safari breakfast
Akershus breakfast
Le Cellier dinner
Hollywood and Vine dinner (Fantasmic package)

Its dd first trip (2years) and we are trying to get most of our character interactions through meals vs waiting in line with a two year old to see if she likes the characters or not...can you tell ;). We also like breakfast buffets:thumbsup2

We are there for five days....so have one more TS left to book, if we book it. Do you usually book all your TS or just walk up to some?

We have never used the Dining plan before.:confused3

Our TA is awesome....but thought Id see where you would recommend for a small family of three with a two year old...CANT be in EPCOT, so preferably a resort, boardwalk, etc or Magic kingdom as we don't have a TS there as of yet.

How about the Crystal Palace in MK or 1900 Park Fare at the GF. Both have characters.

My favorite breakfast is the Crystal Palace in MK. They have really yummy food (don't miss the Cinnamon Puffed French Toast!)
They also have Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore so you can get in more character time.

If you'd like something with fantastic food and a wonderful view, I recommend Sanaa at AKL Kidani Village. They have Indian/African inspired food that is just amazing. And the restaurant has windows facing the savannah so you can watch the animals while you eat!

Thumbs up on Crystal Palace it:

1) has got the Pooh characters which are good for most little ones.
2) Has ood food for either breakfast/lunch/dinner. Best character buffet food IMO.
3) Is Inside MK!

1900 Park Fare breakfast is another good choice, but lesser known characters (Alice/Mad hatter / Mary Poppins). Chef's Mickeys of course also has characters, but will overlap with your Tusker House Characters somewhat. And finally< Ohana's has Lilo and Sitch as well as Mickey and Pluto with breakfast.

If you are on the dining plan - you really SHOULD make ADRs for all your TS meals. Many restaurants do not have room for any walk-ins. It would be ashame for you to waste a TS credit or alternately end up at a restaurant you don't really want to eat at. If you change your mind while your there, you can always try a walk-up and cancel the other ADR (always cancel any unused ADR, which allows others to walk-up - you'd want others to do that for you, right?).

Having travelled with our then 3 year old DD, I can recommend Crystal Palace at MK. Wonderful character interaction. Her face when she saw Pooh Bear was priceless.

Also wonderful, but might not fit into your plans is the Play 'n Dine at Hollywood Vine character breakfast. She absolutely loved that. She looked so content when June from the Little Einsteins hugged her. It was magical. The best character interaction of our whole trip. Leo was also great - he danced with her and made a fuss because she was a little shy. Jojo and Goliath were nice as well, though I believe now it's Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso instead.

Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's for Breakfast.

We always enjoy Breakfast at Chef Mickey's.
Crystal Palace is nice if you like Pooh and Friends.

I'm a fan of breakfast at Chef Mickey and I also think 1900 Park Fare would be good (for either breakfast or dinner - dinner has cinderella/prince charming/ step sisters and step mother who are all great in character)

I also really enjoy O'hana as well.

If you want to do MK park, then Chrystal Palace breakfast is good too.

Definitely Crystal Palace at MK. Another option is Ohana at the Poly. Both are excellent

Do O'Hanas!!! Its inside the Polynesian. By far, our most FAVORITE place to eat in Disneyworld. The food is amazing, never ending, and its lots of fun!

But go for lunch or dinner... the food is great! You can buy breakfast for about $6 if you are staying at a Disney resort... use your TS credits for lunch or dinner if possible.... better value. And I think the character breakfasts are worth paying out of pocket and use your table service credit for a dinner somewhere.

Ok! I had to reply because my DD8 has the EXACT same name as your DD2!! Love that name!

So some of my daughter's favorite TS are:

Coral Reef, eating by a huge wall of aquariums = great atmosphere, good food.

Teppan Edo, Japanese steakhouse, cooking on your table = fun and great food!

Crystal Palace is fun too but you have two character meals already?!!?!?

There's two new restaurants that are on our list for our next trip: Via Napoli (pizza, italian) and La Hacienda de San Angel (upscale Mexican)

Good luck with your ressies!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Being that we already have two character meals planned and dd isnt really into Pooh, we are skipping CP this trip...dh and I have been twice.

We found out that we have already booked all our TS, we just used two on one day....oops..lol
