Hi Gang

We're travelling to the Dolphin in June and we're bringing our DS5 and DD1. My question is about car seats. First off do the transportation companies offer booster seats and infant seats in their vehicles when going from MCO to Disney? If not, do I need to lug our son's booster seat and our daughters infant seat on the plane and then install them in the car?. Please help. I'm getting a little worried that my son will be sitting in a car with just a seat belt and I'll be carrying my daughter in my arms. :sad2:

Surely this is not the first time 2 parents have travelled to WDW with their 2 kids under 6 years old.

I believe some transportation companies offer the use of car seats, but it would be best to call and check first. I assume you are considering having a town car or vcan service pick you up at MCO and bring you to your resort.

Starting on May 5, Disney will provide transportation from MCO to their resorts free of charge. I believe they will be using shuttle busses and I don't know if they are set up for car seats or not. Perhaps someone else has a better idea about that.

Have you considered renting a car from National/Alamo at MCO and returning it once you get to the Dolphin resort? (National/Alamo have a car rental at the Dolphin) It might be worth a consideration, that way you can stop at a grocery on the way to Dolphin and pick up some things like snacks, juice, diapers etc. Mousesavers.com has a whole list of discounts available for car rentals.

If you choose the bus option. You are not required (in the state of FL) to have car seats on the bus.

If you choose the towncar service - most companies offer carseats for extra cost. When we went we took our own (you can get a car seat bag that will fit 1 carseat and you can squeeze the booster in there too). I am very obsessed with car seat safety. I always put our seats in myself. I am more comfortable knowing I have my own seats and know they are clean, and safe. The hassle of having 1 more extra bag was well worth the piece of mind for me. :)

We like quicksliver http://www.quicksilver-tours.com/ They have god rates and provide free car seats for children. They have a place on the form to request car seats and age and size of child.

We are using them tmw, our friends are too. We both have 2 kids.

I am brining the baby seat with me because I want the baby to have it at the resort too (good place to sit when there isn't a bouncy chair for them.) We are getting a boster seat for the 3 year old.

We had a problem with ******** a few years ago, they had to borrow a seat from another company. They showed up with out one to take us back the airport form the resort and refused to drive that far with out one (DD was 2) They went and bought one off another company.

However, Quicksliver has been very good. No problems what so ever.
