Hello fellow Disney lovers! I was hoping that I could get some feedback as we are trying to plan a trip to DL around mid-June & I find that after working a 15-hour day I'm just completely exhausted and braindead. Couple that with the fact that I seem to be cursed when I do searches on the forum and don't seem to find what I'm looking for.
If anyone is willing to help, here is a little bit of info.:
I know I have a ton of questions (and probably more that I haven't thought of as it's 6am and I'm just now finished working), but I know there are some real experts here and I would so appreciate any help you could give. My toddler tells me daily, "You need to take me to Disneyland" (she saw a commercial), so I want to get this right. TIA
If anyone is willing to help, here is a little bit of info.:
- My family: me, hubby, daughters: 13 yrs & 4 yrs
- My daughter's Summer vaca. begins June 8th, so realistically I can vacation from June 8th - June 25th. (Have a big work project end of June & they need me back)
- Hubby has only accrued 5 days of vacation so I want to plan the arrival date so we can have as long a vaca. as possible
- Any feedback on Disneyland Hotel? (We stayed at GC last time & it was GREAT being so close. GC is not as "Disney" + I heard the DL is nice & clean after the renovations)
- 2 days at DL & 1 day at CA sufficient?
I was considering either: 1) more time at DL/DCA OR 2) getting a CITYPASS (3-day PH for DL/DCA + Univ. Studios + SeaWorld). Not sure if doing 4 attractions = too much? - Costco travel package or a la carte? (We did the Costco package 2 years ago & used the following: Character dining pass/person, Aladdin pref. seating, $20 gc. I think I ended up giving away MTTM tix & didn't use the other vouchers in the booklet.)
- Supposedly there aren't any deals now (have to wait til April for June deals)...is it worth it to book now to save the room & add the promo. later?
