These are about the no expire option
If you buy no expire tickets when your child is under 10 and use them when he is 10 or over do they charge u the difference?

If I bought a 10 pack of Tickets and don't use them till 2007 they don't start to expire until the first day we use them at the parks right? So I could use 5 days then get the no expire option added on to the last 5 days?

If you buy your child a ticket when he is 10, I doubt that they will make you pay the step up fare when he turns 11. But I am not sure about that!

As for adding on the no expiration option...no matter how many days you use, in order to add on the NO EXPIRATION OPTION, you will need to pay the $$ based on the total days of the ORIGINAL TICKET. So if you use 5 days now, then add the No Exp option for the other 5 days, it will cost you $100+ to add the option. And YES, you can add options at any time within the first 14 days of usage.

Disney will not penalize a child for growing up. If you want to convert the used child's pass to an adult pass, take the pass and the child-turned-adult to guest services to make the change for free.

Adding "no-expiration" to a used 10-day pass will cost you the same amount as if the pass had never been used: $143.78 ($135 + 6.5% tax), regardless of whether it is an adult or a child's pass.

So if you have used the tickets like a few months ago you can no longer add the water parks option etc. since its been more then 14 days?

I think that technically, they will upgrade your child's ticket to an adult ticket for free **if** at least one day has been used. If it is a totally unused ticket and they catch it, you can be charged the difference to upgrade. It's always possible that they won't charge you either way, but who knows.......
