Please help, our trip might not work out

Bonnet Creek will be great. We regularly fly out of Albany to Orlando. We're closer to Newark, but the Albany airport is just so much more convenient. I've gotten some great rates flying on the first flight of the morning out of Albany (so early, but worth it) and the last flight out of Orlando. I hope you find a good airfare. We've also done JetBlue out of Newburgh/Stewart and Westchester County for decent rates.

We love Bonnet Creek. Last trip we spent 1 day at Discovery Cove, went o MNSHHP one night and the rest of our trip we hung out at WBC and enjoyed the pools, activities and crafts.

How do we buy magic bands?
We took the plunge and booked with bonnet creek, I'm just hoping that it is every bit as magical.

You can order them online. The basic ones are 12.95, which is what the Disney resorts give you. Just pick a different color for each person in your family You can still use the magic bands for many of the same things as onsite guests, like fast passes and photo pass. The first time we used MB I didn't realize the photo thing, you don't have to set anything up, you just have the photographer scan your bracelet and you can view your photos online, which you don't have to purchase.

I think that the space and amenities at WBC plus the time you spend in the parks will make for a magical vacation. You drive through the Disney gates to get there, so you get that same "we have arrived!" feeling.

I should also say that you don't *have* to get magic bands. You can just use your ticket cards. We like the ease of them and the kids think they're fun.

Syracuse, NY resident here. I thought driving might be unbearable. At the time we had kids 5, 2, 2. It actually went really smoothly. The drive back is the tricky part

And we loved having our own car to drive everywhere.

With gas prices what they are... I was just driving in Georgia recently and gas was $1.73. The savings can be enormous, depending on how many people you have.
