Please help my D by answering this question

15 sprints, because the sprint distance was not specified.
I will do "two steps" long sprints!

Run 2 miles. I am an endurance chick--not a quick sprint chick. :) In 24 minutes...I'd be done. Not too shabby.

1) How far are the sprints?
2) Do the sprints have to be run one after the other? How long for resting in between? Or, can they be run over a period of 15 days (1 a day) or longer?
3) Does the 2 miler have to be run or could it be walked?

There are way too many variables to make an educated decision :-)... that said, I would just do the two miler and be done with it since I run long distance anyways...

By the way, how was your daughter supposed to get 30 responses in one night? Ask the class? go door to door? When I was young, we didn't have the internet, and short of asking the class (who would have to ask others too), I would have no idea how I can get that many responses!

I ran track in H.S and the sprints are definitly easier--You have no time to get tired and have had a chance to rest up before the next set.
Being tired and having to slow down really affect your time--Pacing doesn't really work a whole lot because you need a good time and if you pace to slow you lose.
Had to sub for cross country a couple of times and hated it.Though it beats the heck out of running around a track!
