How dose this work? Is it 298 per day or for the week? How much do I put in for my auction. Also Can I only bid on the dates aval?? Is there more hidden charges?

also do you know of anothor place besides ebay and sky auction to bid for travel??:confused3

I have gone on at least 6 seven night vacation stays through skyauction. The $295 you see at the bottom of the page is for the 7 nights. You add to that what you bid and then add a one time $20 processing fee. I usually bid $1 and go no higher than around $40 or so. So a $1 winning bid would cost you a total of $316 for 7 nights. It is an awesome deal. But even better than that is the Skyauction 7 night vacation certificate blowout sale that is going on now. You can get 7 nights for $199 and that is the total I think. My friend just purchased one Friday. The availability is not that great but you might find something you like. We are staying Oct. 10-17 at Cypress Palms in Kissimmee and I paid $251 total for all seven nights in a 2 BR condo. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions. I love skyauction!:)

Do you have a link to the $199 deal? I went to skyauction but did not see it anywhere? Also where do you look at availability?
thank you so much!

I don't know how to post a link. This is what I tell my friends....go to skyauction.com then click USA and Canada, then click Florida, then click condensed version (so that it will list more than 5 per page) then scroll down until you see the red dot. All of the dots beside the listings are blue except for the one beside the blowout sale. It was still there last night. Let me know if you find it. Deb

They do not give blackout dates. You simply check availablity before purchasing. There is a link on the auction page (Blowout sale for $199) where you can put in the location and travel month and it will show the available inventory. Be careful though because my friend was counting on booking a 3 BR condo that was availabe at the beginning of the auction and it was gone by the time she purchased her certificate and tried to book it. She did find a 2BR and thankfully that will still meet her needs. A safer way to do this is to bid on the Ready, Set, Go auction that has the $295 fee plus $20 service fee plus whatever you bid. So for a winning bid of $1 the total for 7 nights would be $316. You can bid whatever you are willing to spend but I never spend over $350 or so. The reason that this way is safer is that you are allowed to place a hold on the room for 24 hours so if you find something you like you could hold it. Just make sure you do it near the end of the auction so that it will still be on hold after you win. I hope this is not too confusing. If you can travel during off season there are some great deals to be had.
