We're staying at the Dolphin with a rental car. We will mostly be using Disney transport except a few times-luau, golf, pleasure island....

One afternoon is planned as follows: Get to MK for 3 p.m. parade, hopefully make the switch of tickets for e-night bands, hop on the resort monorail to Poly for O'hana's 6 ressie, and then be back to the MK for the start of E-night at 8:30...

Where would you park? Is the TTC a public lot or just for busses? Would that be a smart choice? We don't really want to park at MK and I know Poly would allow a three-hour pass for parking, so that is out.
TIA everyone.

Parking for the MK is the TTC -- there is no separate MK parking. The TTC is a 5 minute walk from the Poly or you can take the Resort Monorail.

Why not just take the bus from your resort to MK? Even when I have had a car, I always use the bus transportation to the MK, because the buses drop you off right in front of the entrance, rather than having to go to TTC and then take the ferry or monorail. You could take the bus to MK, take the monorail to the Poly and back, and then take a bus back to your resort after enjoying e-night.

I also recommend taking the bus to the MK. E-ride nights are for on-site guests only (including the DTD & Swan/Dolphin guests). I've read a post or two that reported a long lonely walk to the car after e-nights. Apparently, the trams weren't running as very few on site guests drive and park at the TTC for e-ride nights.

I appreciate your responses; I think we will take the bus now from the Dolphin! And I thought the TTC and MK lots were two separate parking areas, color me stupid!
