Please help me understand reservations that are half value season half peak.

Hi,

Can someone help us with understanding how this reservation rate would work.

If a reservation is made for Feb 12-20 and value season ends Feb 16, do you get the value season rate for your entire stay or only until Feb 16 and then the rate changes to peak.

You get the rate for the entire time at check in. So in your case it works out well for you. If you checked in at a higher rate then the rates dropped you would need to have 2 reservations and check out and back in again.

Thanks. We are new to this and are just trying to find out as much as we can about how to get the best rates.

We could save around $450 by moving our trip to Feb 12-19 instead of May 28-June 4. I guess we have lots of things to think about.

I didn't even about about that being over Valentines day. I have a feeling that our dates have now been choosen once she finds out that this would be over Valentines day.
