I'm so behind that I feel like I might as well just throw them all away and start over! :scared:

I started out with a photo album that I had different sections in; however, I don't like this because I can't add pages to the specific sections without taking the whole book apart.

Then, I got the baseball card holders for a notebook. I don't like this because I have to fold my coupons very small to get them to fit. Now, I am looking for notebook vinyl pages that are for photos. Does anyone know where I can get them?

And yes, I clip my coupons every week. I don't want to file them by date.

TIA :goodvibes

I know lots of couponers use baseball card albums or something similar and are happy with them. Others use a large or small index card box like a recipe box and really like them.

I prefer the plastic accordion type holder. I actually have three of them and each one has about 12 categories of products. The third one isn't all labeled so I have about 28 categories altogether. I keep them in a cloth reusable bag. I could take the whole bag to the store when I shop but I prefer to go through the ads and pull the coupons I need rather than taking the whole bag with me. Then I make out a list and paper clip the coupons to it or just fold them inside the list when I head to the store.

I just started using my black index card box. Mine is the larger 4x6 size. I tried that album thing many years ago.......too much work. This is easy....I made up my own categories and it seems to be easy for me. Now I just started using mine again a few weeks ago. It had been over 2 years since I last used it. I have an accordian style but there are not enough slots for me. Good Luck.

I sort my grocery coupons by date, then I can throw out a bunch at a time when they expire. I use regular envelopes, go through them at home. then bring them in an envelope to the store (with an extra to transfer into when I find the product.)

All other coupons stay in the car in a gallon ziplock sorted by restaurant, regular stores, then a small velcro pack with mall coupons.

Now if I can just remember to bring my cloth bags into the stores, I'll be all set!

I also use two accordian type folders and I file mine alphabetically.

I have an accordian file folder that I use. I then sort them by category.

-dog food/cat litter (for family members)
-paper goods (cups, napkins, paper towels, plates, plastic ware, aluminum foil...)
-Candy/gum
-female stuff (make up, hair dye, maxi pads, ect)
-baking goods (mixes, baking chips, etc)
-freezer section/frozen meals (chicken strips, pizza, tv dinners, etc)
-lunch meats/hot dogs
-beverages
-baby items (diapers, formula, food, wipes...)
-misc.

This is exactly what I have just done this week!

I had the baseball card thing and it was SO FRUSTRATING! I would clip and crop those things over and over to get them to fit and then would have to yank them all out to find something and it was hard to get them back in to fit again.

So now I:

Clip, file under the letter in my 4x6 file box, and then print out The Grocery Game for the week and quickly find them and quickly put back the extras.

I did some sorting and TGG matching last night. I told DH that my half hour of work WHILE watchine TV is going to pay off by saving us $60 in groceries! Where can I make $120/hour? :thumbsup2

I saw on slickdeals dot net last night that Office Depot had a pack of 100 full sheet protectors for $4.00. I was thinking about getting me some of those to use.

I also use an accordian style folder. It has 13 pockets so I use two folders. One folder I use for food products. The other for household/health type items. I put them in by category so I have 26 categories total.

I used to do the baseball card holders, then the full sheet sleeves for the intact insert. These were alot of work and seemed to take me forever to find something in the store. Now, I switched to a recipe card box with different categories and it works great! I clip everything and only keep what I would use if it were free. I can find things quickly and easily. The coupons I don't need, I send on to my coupon buddy.

I use Avery photo inserts in a 3-ring binder. I originally had 4x6 pages (3 slots to a page) but I lost that binder

Now I have 3x5 pages (4 slots to a page). I like the 4x6 better, but couldn't find them at my local office supply store.

Try Staples, Office Max, Office Depot or a similar store. They are made by Avery and will be in the section with binder accessories.

Good luck!
