Please help me pick a hotel....

We are looking to go for 3nghts/2 days the first weekend of December. Our traveling party is me, DH, 3y DD and 10mth DD. I was looking at the Jolly Roger but I only have read horrible reviews of it. I was also looking at Camlot Inn and Suites, and the Radison. (I would love to stay at the Candy Cane again but there is no availability)

I was wondering if anyone could recomend a nice hotel that is within a 10 minute walk to DL that would be comfortable and clean.

Fairfield Inn by Marriot


When we visit DL, this is where we stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a counter service on the 3rd floor (good for a quick brkfst or snack), McDonalds is in the parking lot right next door, Mimi's Cafe in the parking lot on the other side.

You walk past IHOP and Denny's on the way to the front gate.

I'm sorry, but I don't like the Jolly Roger either.

We like the Tropicana and BWPPI. We stayed at the Raddison last year and IMO it was too far to walk. Good luck!!

We just returned from DL and split our stay with 2 nights at the Grand Californian and 2 nights at the HoJo. The Grand Californian was great and we managed to get a rate of $209 so the cost was reasonable (at least compared to rack rates), however don't forget about the entertainment rate of $53/night for the HoJo. It's the rate we paid, the rooms are nice, the beds were confortable, the staff was great and the hotel was clean. For that rate you really can't lose and it's about 8min to the front gate. Don't forget you have to call the hotel directly and ask for their in-house reservations to get the rate, and you need to have an entertainment book. There are a couple of more threads here that talk about in ore detail.
