Thought I would ask the experts...!

I am going for just two days in October half term with dh, my dds aged 9 and 7, and my ds who is currently 9 weeks. We are staying at a campsite an hour north of Paris, and travelling down to Davy Crockett Ranch on the Tuesday.

I would like to do the Studios and Fantasyland especially. My dds (who don't know we are going, incidentally!) will want to do Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz and meet characters. Dh isn't massively interested in Disney so will do whatever we want...!

I would like us to have breakfast on Wednesday in Cafe Mickey. Other than that, I can't decide between Walts, Inventions, or Auberge. I can't afford all 3 sadly. I'm not sure whether to do the Studios on Tuesday or Wednesday- a whole day, or half day?

It's such a short space of time, I don't know where to start or how to fit everything in.

Any suggestions for an itinary?!

Ok, this would be my itinerary, however I would personally sacrifice Cafe Mickey in favour of Extra Magic Hours and access to the studios at rope drop so my days would look something like this...

Day 1
Arrive at Davy Crocket mid morning to collect tickets etc and head straight to the parks.
Early counter service lunch to avoid queues. Do whatever rides I could depending on queues, leaving anything open for EMH for the next day.
Watch the parade
Dinner at Cafe Mickey after the parade (sharing pizzas to cut costs)
Back to the park for extra rides and Dreams at park closing

Day 2
Up early for Extra Magic Hours to do as many rides as possible then round to the Studios for 9.30 before they open the gates. As soon as it opens head straight for Ratatouille. Do what ever else you want to do in the Studios.
Head back to the Disneyland Park for a sit down lunch at Walts/Inventions/Auberge.
In the afternoon head back to the Studios or stay in the main park, depending on which rides/shows you want to do.

I don't tend to plan in more detail than that as the rides I go on are dependant on queues and availability of fast passes.

Hope this is of some help!

Thank you!! That is JUST the kind of help I needed. I can see now how going to Cafe Mickey in the evening will save time, so I think we'll do that instead of breakfast.

Now to decide- Auberge or Walts...

Well your DDs would love Auberge but Walts food is generally better or at least gets better reviews. Did you look at DLPguide.com for menus? That might help you choose! Sounds like you have a lovely time planned :goodvibes
