Please help me find a good new cell phone for my nails

So my phone service is up and I'm looking for a new phone. I want one with a keyboard because now the only way to talk to my kids is through texting. DH has an I-phone but I can't use the darn thing because it only registers skin contact and I have nails that I have no intention of clipping. My service is up this week so I have some time to go out to experiment but I have no idea of where to start. Is there anyone out there who can recommend something for me? FOr the record, bells and whistles are pretty much wasted on me... I'm a more of a one trick pony sort of girl. The phone only needs to go on, off, lock, let me answer it, deal with texts and not be too huge/heavy or it will fall out of a pocket. I am joining AT & T's family plan if it matters.

I have the LG EnV 3 which is great for texting, but I think it only comes through verizon. Its very user friendly and the battery lasts without m recharging it everyday. Why don't you try a blackberry? The keyboards look great for texting.

Can you go to the AT& T website with your account number and look at the phones you are eligible for. Verizon's website allows you to see which phones are available when you are eligible for a new phone. At least you can look at the keyboards and get an idea before you go to the store to try them.
