Hi everyone!!

We are arriving in WDW in just 10 short days :cool1: so excited! Anyway: since our dining package doesn't start until Dec 10 we have to pay for food OOP so I was thinking of heading over to the CS at the Poly that first night, which also happens to be my B-DAY! :thumbsup2 My question is: we are staying @ POP so whats the best way to get to the poly? Since MK is the farest park from POP, would it be faster to go to Epcot by bus , then take Monorail to the Poly? Or just take bus to MK then monorail to Epcot? I would think heading over to MK area on a Sat might be a little crowded, but idk? Thanks for your help!! ;)

bus to MK and monorail to Poly.
If you bus to Epcot and then monorail to the TTC you can walk from TTC to the Poly or move over to the resort monorail if you have time to kill.

Or bus to Epcot or DHS and them bus directly to the poly.

No bus from Epcot to the Poly (or to any of the monorail resorts). DHS would work, but that's two bus rides of a decent length.

I agree that bus to MK, then boat or monorail to the Poly is the most efficient using Disney transportation

IMO- the best way would be to take a taxi from Pop to Poly. Not the cheapest way, but the fastest way. Usually taxi rides are about $15.

I'd say that bus to Magic Kingdom then monorail or boat to Polynesian is the best.

As you walk from the bus platforms to the monorail station you will pass by the big ferry dock and then the small launch dock. If you don't see the boat for the Polynesian at or arriving at the small launch dock, continue on to the resort monorail ramp.

As an aside, if you are adventuresome you could even take the (big) ferry if it is there, and at the other end of the line (Transportation and Ticket Center; MK parking) walk to the Polynesian.

You will generally miss the crowded areas at MK and environs on a Saturday night when transferring from bus to monorail etc. there. (Other than a momentary deluge simply crossing your path at a 90 degree angle for the MK turnstiles you are nowhere near when the big ferry unloads.) But if the bus queue at your resort (Pop Century) for MK is long (visible before you select a route and start) and you might not get on the first bus, you might try for the Epcot bus, then outside Epcot transfer to the monorail. At the end of the line (TTC) walk or take the resort monorail to the Poly'. Note that this is technically a three leg journey although as mentioned, one of the legs might be done on foot (no pun intended).

Are you actually going to Epcot. That changes the complexion of your itinerary and question completely!

No, we are not going to Epcot that evening. It's our arrival night and I just want to go to the QS @ Poly for dinner. We have to pay out of pocket since our free dining doesnt start until Monday & the prices don't look too bad there & I really want to eat there (actually I plan to go there at least 2x's maybe 3 during our vacay) :lmao:
Thanks for all the advise! looks like we'll be busing it from Pop to MK & then hopping on the monorail (don't want to walk it from TTC with 5 kids in tow! and besides we love the monorail! it's one of our "oh my gosh, we're finally in WDW! :thumbsup2
