Please help me do some Holiday resort hopping

We will arrive at WDW at 7:30 (approximately) and would like to do some resort hopping to see holiday decorations that night w/o using a park day (my DSis doesn't have an AP),

I want them to see the decorations on the monorail loop and also at YC/BC, BW and maybe even the S/D.

So I should go from Carribean Beach Resort to MK and hop on the monorail loop and then hop off back at the MK area and go to the buses and hop on a BC/YC, S/D or BW bus?
Is that the best way to get to those resorts w/o using a day on a park ticket?

Also, does the Poly do a special scene now? I didn't see it listed on the DIS's page but I remember seeing they did a replica on the FoodNetwork channel special. Not sure whether to hop off there and see their decorations or not?

Here is what I do, I group the Resort visits by Theme park. Example:

First day I visit MK take a break mid day and visit: Poly,GF, by monorail, and Wilderness lodge by boat

2nd day visit epcot: From international gateway walk to Boardwalk and Beach Club

3rd day Visit Animal Kingdom take a quick bus ride to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

There is a trip report going on right now, and she mentioned that there is no display at the Poly this year. Page 3 #33 and Page 4 #57

AKL does not have a display this year either. We tried to check it out on Sunday and did not see it and the trip report confirmed that the chef left, so a display was not done.

Of course they still have trees and other decorations, just not the gingerbread displays.

Wow. Thanks for that info. I am going to try to do this all in one night because this is a short visit and Sat. I'm doing Osbourne Lights and Sunday CP and Monday MVMCP. My sister will only be there Friday, Sat. and Sunday (daytime only on Sun.). This trip is strictly to see the decorations and not so much an attraction type trip. I will be sure that she rides Soarin' though!!
