We thought we would end our October holiday in WDW with a character breakfast. The two I can't decide between are Chef Mickey at the CR and Goofy's Beach Club Bash at the Cape May Cafe. Anyone eaten at these restuarants? Any input welcome to help me make up my mind, thanks! ::MinnieMo

Chef Mickey's has more characters (including Mickey and Minnie). Food is good. Crowded and noisy usually.

Cape May has Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale so there are limited characters. Food is good, less crowded and noisy.

Where are you staying and what park are you doing that day? CM is a better choice if you're staying in a MK resort or are planning on visiting the MK. BC is better if you're staying in an EPCOT resort or are planning on visiting EPCOT or MGM later.

BC is easier to get an ADR or even a walk up then CM.

tjmouse gave you a good summary.

We love Chef Mickey's and always start our trip with dinner and end with breakfast. It is one of our favorites. :goodvibes

We found CM to be very noisy, however a lot of folks love it. Although we haven't been to Cape May buffet, I have heard pretty good things about it. That's the one we'll try next.

Been to both, Chef Mickey's wins for us!! More atmosphere, more characters, more fun. We did enjoy Cape May, but were very disappointed that the only characters there were Goofy, Minnie and Dale (no Chip :sad2: ). This was just last month.

If you want a quiet, peaceful character breakfast - Cape May. If you want lots of fun - Chef Mickey!!!
