Our choices for going to the world are as follows:

February 10th - 16th (President's weekend)
March 15th - 19th (our spring break)
(or) 1st week in June

I need opinions as to which of these would be the least crowded. My feet are okay for walking, but when I just stand (like in lines), it becomes very painful. However, we have to work around my daughter's school schedule, so can't go during the least crowded times of year.

Any ideas on these dates???? Thanks!!!

Ouch - I really hated to go during Spring Break (too many screaming crazy teens) and the first week of June was ok but not as good as the last of May. . . so by the process of elimination I would try Presiden'ts Week. Probably only President's Day will be overly crowded? (Just guessing)

PRESIDENTS WEEK IS USUALLY FEB VACATION FOR ALOT OF SCHOOLS...I KNOW A TON OF PEOPLE FROM MASSACHUSETTS GO THAT WEEK BECAUSE ALL THE KIDS ARE ON VACATION. PERSONALLY I WOULD AVOID THAT WEEK. HERE IS MY ADVICE PICK A WEEK AND PULL YOUR CHILD OUT OF SCHOOL MY PARENTS DID. AND I DO IT. YOUR MAKING MEMORIES!! YOUR CHILD CAN BRING SCHOOL WORK TO DO ON THE PLANE. GO WHEN YOU WANT THATS MY ADVICE. YOUR KIDS WILL ONLY BE KIDS ONCE!! GO AND ENJOY!!

Your best choice would be 1st week of June.:crowded: It may be but not super:crowded: Elbow to elbow like the other two weeks in my opinion.:teacher: With a plan in hand and your use of Fast Pass I think you could have a great time.:scratchin Whoa what am I saying you can have a great time at WDW any time. For less crowds I still say first week of June. ::yes:: :wizard:

I'd go for early June, too. And if you could manage to get the kids out of school just a couple of days early, that could make all the difference in crowd management.

Holiday week-ends are always bad news. And Spring Break?? Horrors !!:earseek:

I went first week of June this year. It was a good time to go. I'd choose it again over your other two choices. -HM

Thanks everybody! Sound like June is the winner, but will I be too hot?? I'm not good in the heat. Gee, I'm starting to sound very picky, but I'd rather know the facts now than later!

In terms of taking our DD out of school, that's exactly what we were going to do. However, this year they changed the policy and the kids are not allowed to make up school work or tests that they miss due to anything other than illness or deaths in the family. Big Bummer!

We were there in late Jun/early July of this year and it wasn't too hot. I don't think it will be really that much different weather than you experience in San Antonio that time of year ;) Go the the parks early, have a plan, use Fast Pass and take breaks when needed.

Out of the ones you listed the best would probably be the first week in June. Not to terribly crowed, has gotten really hot, and it's alot of fun.

Lexiluke, I sent you an IM concerning this question.

What's comfortable for others may be too hot for you. Accuweather.com has historical, day-by-day temps for the last calendar year. I'd suggest looking at the data for last May and June, and use that as a barometer (weather pun?) for detemining your comfort level.

Remember the humidity will also be high.
