My family is trying to decide on a resort for the first week of February. We will be celebrating my DD2's 5th birthday. The last time we were in Disney was 1.5 years ago for my DD1's 5th birthday. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and loved it. Unfortunately, I don't think a deluxe will be in our budget since we added a third daughter to our family this year :) So at the time of travel in February, it will be me (35), DH (38), DD1 (7), DD2 (turning 5), and DD3 (16 months).

We plan on staying for a week and visiting MK, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. We will also be venturing one day to Universal and this trip we plan on driving so we will have a car. I also plan on getting the quick service dining plan and adding about 3 table service meals to our itinerary as well.

My dream resort is the Contemporary, but since that is probably not going to happen I have resorts narrowed down to POR, POFQ, CS, or a suite at AOA. Thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated!

Our fav moderates are the POR resorts. But with 3 kids you may enjoy having a room to yourself after they go to sleep, so maybe AoA! The theming is super cute too!

We stayed at AoA last year in the Cars suite section and absolutely loved it. We originally requested a Nemo suite which is closest to the pool but they were doing some sort of maintenance on the Nemo buildings and asked us where we wanted to move to. Cars was our second choice but it was great for proximity to parking. We loved having 2 bathrooms ( there were 5 of us also) and a separate bedroom for us which you might like to have if your youngest needs to nap and you want to give her some privacy. We found the food court at AoA to be really great, plus you are a short walk over to Pop Century to access their food court as well.
The pool at AoA is HUGE and so much fun. I love POR/FQ also but with three little girls you may find the theming at AOA better for them, it's very colorful and fun.
Good luck with your decisions, they are great choices and I'm sure you will have a fantastic time wherever you choose!

Thank you so much for your replies! I really like the idea of the extra space, the theme, and the food court. DH isn't thrilled with the idea of a value resort, but I think those things may make up for it. I think the decision may be price and if I can get a discount for any of our choices. Thanks again!

Of those choices I have to agree with AoA because of the space.

You might also consider the cabins at Ft. Wilderness. As long as you have a car it really is a terrific resort with kids.

I have done trips where DH and I shared a single room with our littles, and when they are asleep (or should be and aren't cooperating) it can get tough.

This trip the 5 of us are doing 2 rooms at a moderate (Caribbean Beach - our littles LOVE the pool) rather than a single room at the Contemporary (my husband's first choice.)

LOL! That's MY dream and those were my choices too. :) We're doing POR. The suites as AoA were tempting but 2 members of our party are over 6'3" and don't fit in double beds. A preferred room at POR gets us 2 queen beds and a bunk.

We have 3 children 9, 7,& 5. We have done Por twice and cbr once. Our personal preference is por. Noise, staying up later never an issue as everyone was always so tired. Good luck! Have Fun!

I would go with POR or CBR

just curious why you would skip DHS. With your girls' ages there are so many things that I would think they would enjoy

Thanks everyone! It may just come down to which one I can snag a discount on! DisneyMomx7, DHS was my girls least favorite park when we were there last time. This time we are opting for more MK time instead!
