I think my dh and I have one day and maybe one extra left on our passes from our honeymoon 5 years ago.

We're planning on going to WDW Sept 2005. I saw a deal with 5 day w/ 4 pluses.

Now, my child will be 3.5 when we go and we're going for only a week. Maybe there's some travel time in there-I'm not sure yet. We weren't really planning on going to any of the water parks. And I wanted to hit Sea World too.

We still have money from when dh sold his boat, so the money isn't really the issue.

Do I go ahead and get the 5 day even though we probably won't use them all? I know they don't expire.

I just need someone to tell me what to do. dh won't help me make this decision. I just don't want a better/cheaper deal to come along!

What do you all say??

I would go ahead and get the tickets you mentioned. Part of the reason some people don't go as often as they would like too has to do with the amount for tickets.

By doing this, if you get a wild hare and want to go again, your tickets don't expire.

We plan to do the same thing. We keep our unused ones in our safety deposit box at the bank so nothing happens to them.

I would get the tickets because like you said, they never expire.

Definetly, we are only going to be at WDW for 4 days next year but we are buying a 7day because we WILL be going back. You can't beat the price per day on the higher amount tickets you buy.

If you can swing it, its better to spend the xtra amount now to get the more days than having to pay a lot more (ticket increases and just buying the lower tickets is more expensive anyways) the next time you go.

I would go one step further and get the seven day hopper plus passes. The plusses don't expire either. Next time you go may be you won't have to buy any tickets, just my .02.

And I, too agree with anditoo72, lol!

Get the 7 day passes...they also have 4 plusses on them. What is the difference in price between the 5+4 and the 7+4 for the extra 2 days in the parks?

I bought a couple of the 5 day passes with 4 pluses at the Super Walmart in Kissimmee for $264 tax incl. during our visit in June. I think I paid $302 apiece for the 7 day hoppers from Hotwire.

...so, assuming Hotwire still has the $302 price, a person would be paying $19 each for admissions to the main four parks...to me that's a great deal!

I guess I look at it this way: if I'm going to be buying the 5+4 anyway, it's as if someone said, "Psssst! Hey, if you buy this 5+4 ticket I can let you have 2 more park admissions for only $19 each...and they never expire!"

DH got us the 7-day PHP and we figured out that we will be able to use them on three trips to Disney. No buying tickets for 3 years.
