Please help!!! Magic Kingdom or add Epcot also?!?!

Hi, all! I am here now for a conference that is a bust cuz of the hurricane. I had to extend til tomorrow,but just found out my flight got cancelled AGAIN!!!

I really am trying to make the best of it so I've decided to go to Magic Kingdom!!! I only have one day since I fly out early Sunday morning. Is it worth it to add a park hopper for Epcot? I'm sure the parks will be crazy because they were all closed today. I will do early check out of my current hotel, early check in to new hotel, leave luggage with their storage, then take their free theme park shuttle. Hopefully be in shuttle by 0830 the latest.

What do you all think?

Buy the base ticket for MK. If you then decide you want to hop, simply go to Guest Services at MK and add the hopper option.

Magic Kingdom tomorrow will be $110 per ticket. The park hopper ticket is $160 per ticket. EPCOT would cost $102 per ticket. I would just do one of the parks if you are looking to save money.

Never mind, everyone! I've decided to just do Magic Kingdom. This is my 1st time and I have no fastpasses. Hopefully I can find single rider rides and waits are doable.

Make FP after you buy your ticket and the earlier you go the better it will be!!

One thing about MK to know is that this weekend is the last performance of the Main Street Electrical Parade. I am sure you should expect a pretty hefty amount of people there to see it!

i don't think there are many single rider lines at MK but I think you can still have a good day if you are solo and take advantage of same day FP and frequently check wait times! There is ALOT to do at MK that even if you miss rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train you will still have a great time!

Thank you so much for the advice! I didn't think I'd be able to do FP's the day of...assumed it was sold out already. I've already downloaded the app and will definitely be using it. I'm such a planner so this last minute stuff is overwhelming me. Wish me luck!

No you don't need to purchase a magic band. You can pick up your tickets at will call and just access your FastPass+ Reservations with the plastic tickets you'll get.

Thanks, everyone! I bought my ticket via the WDW app. Went to the business center at my hotel and printed the ticket. This way I don't have to buy the magic band. Seven dwarves mine train was all gone but I got FP's for the morning for HM, Space mountain & POTC!!! I plan on waiting in line after lunch for 7 dwarves. I made reservations for Be Our Guest and already prepaid for food.
I happened to get the refillable cup when I dropped by Art of Animation yesterday. I will bring it tomorrow. Does anyone know if I can refill at Be Our Guest? If not, I'll find a place that does.
The other big things I want to do is see the electrical parade and the wishes fireworks. I'll also do other rides. I better go to sleep now!!!

I'm checking tomorrow from my current hotel near sea world. Tomorrow I'm staying at the Sheraton Buena vista down the street. After I already booked it, I found out the schedule if the free parks shuttle from the front desk. The times are awful! Instead I will drive myself.

OP here and I wanted to post an update to my day yesterday. Sorry this will be a little long!

As mentioned before I am Disneyland veteran (go 1-2 times a month). Here's a synopsis of my day yesterday and my thoughts.

I drove my rental and parked at TTC around 7:40. The monorail was down so took the ferry (took awhile for it to come back for us). By the time I got passed security, it was around 8:15ish. I scanned my ticket via my WDW app & she gave me a card & scanned my finger.

I did my FP for pirates. Stood in standby line for 7DMT for 60 minutes. Worth it but that ride is so short! Went to Gaston's tavern for LeFou's brew (got the Gasyon Stein for DH- he lives him) & a cinnamon roll (omg, they're huge!). Saw gaston signing autographs!

Did my Space Mountain FP. Went to People Mover (got stuck couple times) at first. Did major shopping at Pandora in Main Street. Went to Haunted Mansion for my last FP. Went to the fantasyland charging station for my phone & rest from heat and humidity.

Saw the festival of fantasy parade. All by 3pm!!!

I've always wanted to visit the resorts since this is my 1st time. So, I took the ferry to grand Floridian. Checked out the shops (didn't get anything). So classically beautiful.

Then I walked along the pathway to Polynesian. (Side note: on Thursday before the hurricane really started...I made time to visit Animal Kingdom Lodge & has lunch at Sanaa and visited Jambo house & shopped a lot there. After that, I stopped by Art of Animation & took pics of the Cars area. It really started to pour so I only took pix of lobby then shopped then left.) I really loved Polynesian!!! Want to stay in future.

Will post later as I'm about to board plane to finally go home!
