Please help. Luggage Question.

We are leaving Sunday and I am getting scared that our luggage may be to big. We have flown with it before but I know things have changed since. We are flying SW and I am trying to measure my luggage to see if we are within the 62 linear inch requirements. Here is my question. On the height do you measure from the the bottom of the wheels to the top handle or do you measure just the suitcase part? I know the weight limit is 50lbs. and we will comply. I just don't want to have to buy new luggage at this point.

Bottom of wheels to top of handle. If you stand it up, you're measuring from the floor to the top (highest point). Unless your luggage is grossly oversized, I wouldn't worrry about being an inch or two over the overall limit...
