Hi there. We are going on vacation to Disney from SC. We are arriving Sunday evening and coming back Saturday. My daughter is 18 months and I have no idea which park to do when. She is not a laid back child and gets easily bored and aggervated. We want to go to the magic kingdom definetly and we do have tickets to sea world. Please help me decide which days are best to go to which parks with a toddler. We are planning on going back to the hotel for noon naptime and lunch. Thanks so much in advance.

Please consider subscribing to tourguidemike.com (see the theme parks board for a $3 coupon). We've used tourguidemike on our last two trips with our toddler and we will never go to WDW again without his information. He'll tell you which parks are best on certain days and will give you touring plans geared toward a young child.

This page on Allearsnet.com shows historical attendance levels at WDW.

This is what it says:
A recent inquiry of Disney regarding which days to visit which parks had the following response:

"During regular attendance periods, our parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:

Magic Kingdom: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday
Epcot: Tuesday and Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Sunday and Wednesday
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday"

We use this info as well as go by which parks are having Extra Magic hours in the morning. If you are on site, you might want to take advantage of the early Extra Magic hours and then park hop later in the day if you have park hoppers. Or if you're off site you might choose to avoid those parks on those days since they could be more crowded earlier because of it. I hope that makes sense.

I've never used TourGuide Mike however I've heard good things about his svc hear on The Dis. In the past we used touring plans from The Passporter book and the Unofficial Guide to WDW book. I do think spending an extra 20 bucks is worth the investment when you're taking a trip that costs hundreds of $$ to begin with. Jmho.

hth!

Please take a deep breath, slow down and enjoy. Don't stress yourself out. Read the tips, but remember there is no one right way or wrong way. There is much joy in the journey along the way.
Play. Have fun. Flexibility is the key to good health.

If your DD bores quickly, I'd consider getting the Park-Hopper option on your park passes. That way if one park isn't doing it for her that day, you have the flexibility to try another one - or to return to a favorite ride in a different park later on.

The day my DS (then 4) completely melted down in Epcot, I decided to take the boat from there to MGM. The boat ride was relaxing, and MGM provided a change of pace (not to mention the promise of ice cream out of a dinosaur if he pulled it together by the time we reached MGM). ;)
