My friend is leaving for Disney in a few weeks and will be needing accomodations for the night of arrival. They will be arriving late and leaving the following morning around 7. That being said she wants SAFE, CLEAN, and EAsy to find area!!!!! She's not wanting to spend much because they will be spending all of 9 hours there sleeping. We have looked at the Clarion $49, Holidayinn Maingate East $49, and the Howard Johnson Maingate East $29. Now please give your opinions of these and if you have a better one to suggest please DO!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest that she go to Priceline and bid on a 3 Star in the WDW area. These are the 3 stars available in that area....

Buena Vista Suites
The Grosvenor
Hyatt Orlando (note, on Hwy 192)
Renaissance World Resort (was Doubletree Orlando Resort)
Sheraton Safari
Summerfield Suites
Doubletree Resort Orlando-Villas at Maingate
Hotel Royal Plaza

The average going price for these properties is $35 a night. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com for more information.

Thanks! After doing a search on this board I noticed the wide range of opinions on these properties and decided to advise her to book the All Stars for the one night. She called last night and got the Sports for $74 after tax. Problem solved.
