Please help-hotel dining with kids area

I am planning a Universal trip which will include DH, DD 10 and DD7 and DS2;
Last trip DS was only 4 months so eating out was not an issue. HE was great! Now he is a terror! Apparently punishment for everytime I have ever glanced up at someone else and thought why can't they control there kid. Now that is my kid. Eating out is a nightmare of chasing him down to put him in timeout. He has 2-3 bites and in his mind he should be out of there. Really unpleasant so we have really cut back on eating out. I bring his superman lunchbox full of all sorts of things to entertain him and it usually ends in him throwing it at me. I AM NOT looking for parenting advice but more info on kid dining section at Universal resorts. Last time I recall a kids room to eat in at the Islands restauarant at RPR(where we are staying) and have heard the Kitchen at HRH has the same. Can anyone share their experience with this? We loved the food at Islands rest. and the waiter even went and got a sushi menu from the sushi bar upstairs for DH and had sushi brought down for him. The food was great also. Have you recently eaten in kids section of Islands or the kitchen and how was your experience?

I have not ate at the Islands Dinning Room for dinner, but they still have the special area just for kids. I feel for you and your family about your situation, its not easy.

Yes they have the kids buffett at the islands. We eat there most times when we stay, DD did the kids buffett a few years ago, but feels she was to old at 14, although there was others her age there.
he might be fine in there with your other kids, while you and your DH eat at a table and maybe nip in to check on them athat they are ok. Might be better there with other kids, as i think on past experience that kids play up when there parents are there.
