Please help-EMH-good or bad?

I am trying to plan out our trip for Thanksgiving week. We will actually only be in the parks on the days prior to Thanksgiving. Now that the Nov. hours are out, I need to decide if we should choose EMH parks or avoid them due to crowds. We will never, ever go in the AM. I can't get them moving that quickly. We only have 3 days in the parks, though, and I wonder if EMH will give us more time to enjoy or just more crowds. Thanks!

The EMHs in the evenings are usually very crowded. Unless there is a pressing reason for us to go, we try to hit that park the following morning. It is usually less crowded. But, a lot of people love the evening EMHs...yes, they're crowded, but if you don't mind the longer waits, then it is fun being in the parks that late at night.

I am not sure if November is a busy month, but when we went last year in Ausust(last week) we went to extra hours at MK, and Epcot and there was very very low crowds, we got to go on rides over and over again. I know I read on the boards before I went to avoid extra magic hours cause of the crowd levels but we experience very low crowds. The end of August was the least crowded period I ever experience.

I went this past January, during the day the parks' crowd level would be very mild but once EMH started the lines got HUGE. So I guess it's all just luck.

We did EMH (evening hours) at MGM, MK, and AK last week and we felt like we had the places to ourselves. I will add at MGM we were not interested in Tot or RnR and at MK we spent our time in Fantasyland. But, At AK DD and DH did EE 2 times in a row just walking on and getting right back on with less then 5 min wait. Dinoland was also empty and we were able to walk right of KS there too. It may be all luck or just depends on what you are interested in seeing.
