We are doing the Dining Plan in July and have visited WDW for the last 4 summers. We have our old staple restaurants we love, but are open to new suggestions. It's my wife, step-daughter (11), and I.

This is what we have so far:
Le Cellier
50's Prime Time
Chef Mickeys

What other suggestions might you have? We have thought about Garden Grill, Yak & Yeti, Sci-Fi, Liberty Tree Tavern. Are these good? Any other suggestions?

Also, do you think we could still get Hoop-De-Doo reservations at this late of a time? Just curious. It would be from July 22-30.

Thanks in advance!

We love the Garden Grill also if you can get into the Spirit of Aloha go for that. I would call and try to get the Hoop Dee Doo.

WE also love Germany, great entertainment.

We love Crystal Palace for breakfast at the Magic Kingdom (with Pooh and friends). We also love the Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom for a table service meal. It is a little different than your normal table service...as it is onlysandwiches, salads, shakes and GREAT sundaes. We enjoyed our lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern (first time we went was this past September); we are not crazy about Sci-Fi, but we know kids enjoy it (ours did when they were younger). How about Biergarten in the Germany pavilion?

We've been to the Liberty Tree in Magic Kingdom - great food. The Rose and Crown in Epcot is one of our favorites.

We LOVED Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL. They have a great skillet meal. We are going to return there in October. We also liked the Coral Reef, if you aren't a fish eater the steak was good. Crystal Palace was good too, beautiful restaurant. 50's prime time was lots of fun.

We loved San Angel Inn...very fun and pretty, felt like we were really in Mexico

We enjoyed CG and our son enjoyed Coral Reef...although the dining experience was better than the food. He also liked the place in Japan where they cooked the food in front of you....can't recall the name but the wonderful people here will know it. :lovestruc

I will tell you with an 11 year old...some of these new places will be fun for her expanding taste buds...I hope no one fusses at me, but we did not like Chef Mickey's that much and I thought an 11 year old may want something a bit more grown up...but maybe we just had a miserble time and it is better now.

Have a super trip :flower3:

Thanks for the suggestions!

We have done Whispering Canyon and we did enjoy that on a previous trip. We will try to get Hoop-De-Doo tomorrow morning! It does look like a good time!

My daughter who is 11 doesn't like much when it comes to food, so unfortunately, she isn't too crazy about trying new things. Also, my wife doesn't enjoy seafood, so Coral Reef is out, although I would love to try it!

I will put our final list up tomorrow morning and let you all check it out!
