I have searched and read previous threads, but I'm afraid I'm a bit confused. Some posters mentioned not waiting in the long line to meet the princesses but going straight to the coronation/storytelling. In this way, it seemed, they avoided the line and still got a brief meeting with the princesses. Is this right? Are there 2 lines? :confused3
Thanks.

If you wait until after the coronation/storytelling at least two princesses come out afterwards. If you hang around, smaller lines start to form for autographs/pictures with these two princesses. This can be a shorter wait for the princesses and you get to watch the show/listen to a story, which is usually easier for children to do. It can be a little while before they appear post-show, so just be patient. Your children are welcome to play in the show area and you can take pictures, etc. HTH! :goodvibes

Thanks! So is there a separate line or entrance for the storytelling? And can we access the facepainting from the storytelling or is the part of the massive line?

The storytelling and coronation and the face painting are not part of the queue to visit the princesses. Not sure if there even is a queue for those things. If so it was a short one when we were there in August. Hopefully others can add their experience.

:wizard:

The queue for just the princesses is in front of an ampitheater. There is no queue for the ampitheater, it is first come, first serve for seats. In the ampitheater is where the coronation/storytelling occurs.

I haven't done the facepainting, so hopefully someone can speak to that. I do know they don't do the facepainting in the regular princess queue.

When we went in October, (it would have been the 22nd) there was a VERY short turnaround between the cornonation and storytelling we went to...maybe 20 minutes? The princesses did NOT come out and do a meet-and-greet after the coronation. It seemed like there was just enough time to get cleaned up from the conornation (lots of confetti/streamers) and get the rugs/mats set out for storytelling.

It was CRAZY busy in the park that day, so I suspect that they may have added some extra shows, and that it wasn't a typical experience, but just wanted to give you a warning that you should ask if the princesses will come out, especially if the shows are very close together.

There are lots of CMs around, especially before and after the Coronation. Ask one of them, and they'll let you know if the princesses will be out after.

As for seating, PPs are right: you just walk down into the ampitheater for both of those shows. There's usually a big pink menu board type thing with the showtimes sitting out at the entrance to the ampitheater. Just walk past it, and you'll end up down in the ampitheater.

There are a number of bleacher-style seats, and then there is a large space for sitting/dancing on the floor. Many parents stayed in the seats while their older kids went down into the floor area--you can see your kids quite easily, and there's only 2 ways in or out. Many parents also came down on the floor area with smaller kids. I went down on the floor, and tried to stay crouched down as I'm tall and didn't want to block the view of the folks in the bleachers.

We had amazing interaction at the Royal Walk. The line is long, no one likes to wait in it, but the princesses were amazing and took their time with everyone. We didn't feel rushed at all, and my daughter still talks about meeting Cinderella and talking with her about Gus Gus. Even my very reluctant husband said it was worth the wait!

Have a great time!
