Hi, I was on here last week asking about giving my credit card details for the Hoop dee Doo Musical Show and was informed they would not take any money, just my details. Just looked on my credit card statement online and they have take £123 even though I gave the correct info to show I was on the dining plan. Can anybody inform we what I am best doing now :confused3

Did you book it online? I am imagining you did since you booked from Great Britain.

Online, you have to be careful. Sometimes it charges you for the entire thing because it doesn't register that you are on a dining plan. You have to pay particular attention before you click to accept of what exactly you are being charged.

You can either cancel that one and try to rebook with the dining plan info (try the rebooking first; I am assuming you do not want to call WDW-DINE from the UK but you can try calling and explaining what happened, and see if they can get you a refund NOW) or get your payment refunded when you pick up your tickets and switch to dining credit payment (this is subject to fluctuations in the exchange rate though).
 
Hi, yes I did book online, and the only contact telephone number is in America which would cost a fortune to ring, I don't want to just cancel in case it incurrs any charges but I can't wait until August to get a refund, I have just replied to the confirmation email so not sure if they can answer this way, not a happy bunny!!!! Would not have booked if I knew they would do this :headache:

You likely won't get a response from that e-mail that says anything except that you'd have to call WDW-DINE.

You won't incur any charges if you cancel now - I think the cancellation is either 48 or 24 hours - but make sure you can rebook first, if you want to rebook.

If you want to keep it, I don't think you have another choice but to wait for your refund or call WDW-DINE and there's no guarantee they'll be able to get you a refund now and still let you keep the reservation.
 

Hi, I do still want to go to the show, but if I do re book it I will be worried incase they charge me again lol! Wayne has give me a link that will only charge me 1p a minute to ring so I will try that tomorrow, if not I will have to cancel online. Thanks for your help, :thumbsup2

When booking online (and not getting charged) it'll say "credit card guarantee" and NOT ask for what your party consists of (how many adults or children). I hope you get it worked out.
 
I had this happen to me too! I called the reservation line. They gave me a credit and then took the card to "hold" the reservation.

If you call they will fix it.
 
Hi, thanks everyone, I rang this morning and they cancelled my ressie to give me my money back and they rebooked and took my cc details again but without charging, apparantly my hotel was linked to the booking but not the dining plan! :confused:
