We are staying concierge in June and we all know that it has been moved to Tahiti. I know that I would have had a view of the quiet pool if we were in Hawaii, now I don't know what our view will be. I am just wanting to know that I will be just as happy staying in Tahiti. Please give me your experience. Thanks!:)

We stayed in room 3010 in Tahiti in June 2001. The view is of the lush gardens and foliage and you can see parts of Rapa Nuie and one of the other buildings, but it's not like you can see into anyone's room. You also have a view of the walkway and you are SUPER close to the TTC, which we loved! The only 'odd' thing I found with this room is that the ceiling fan was over the table and not centered on the ceiling. Otherwise, we enjoyed the large room, double sinks in the bathroom, good closet space and the overall location of the building. Hope this helps!

Thanks for posting. I think that I will like being near the TTC. Was there a long walk to the pools? What about the GCH, how close? Sounds nice having a double sink. I guess the view is a GV, LOL. Thanks again!

The walk to the pools wasn't bad. We just walked in front of the Tahiti and Hawaii buildings and walked by Seven Seas Lagoon. As we walked this path we could see the castle and the Grand Floridian. It was very pleasant. The walk to the GCH was nice, too, especially when the tiki torches were lit. It was very tropical and you really feel like you're in another world! Have fun!

The walk does sound nice. What do you do during one of those Florida down pours? Can you walk through the different longhouses to get where you need to? I was thinking this could maybe save you from getting totally drenched when you are trying to get back to your room.
I am still trying to figure out how the Poly is going to make a Concierge lounge in Tahiti.
