but I need to show off for a moment here!

I was working on the pages for SIOH's baby book this afternoon and I made a Cheshire Cat paper piecing for the 1st Smile pages. Well I just have to show him off to you all, I *LOVE* him and will have to make another for myself sometime. He took over an hour to piece together and is made of 20 pieces, each dark stripe is a seperate piece as are his nose, smile, dark hair on his head and his eyes. The eyebrows and ears were done with a pen. His head is up on foam and his nose is too so he's 3 layered. He is 3.5" tall and I'm so proud that I made him! The scan has taken it out but the light pink card is textured so he looks almost furry in some lights. Ok, going back to my hole now...

Ok, I looked before I realized it was a baby book paper piecing!! (off to the naughty mat for me!!)

Before I get sent to the mat, can I just say that I LOVE him LOVE him LOVE him?!?!? Cheshire Cat is another of my favorites--I have a Cheshire Cat hoodie, flip flops, and a hat!
