Please Explain the Resort Mugs

My DD just returned from her senior class trip to the World. The kids were each given a free mug for use during the trip. We met up with her and her friends at the Poly and the CM's (guy's )all got the girls refills with the AS mugs. I hope those young men didn't put their internships in jeopardy because of this indiscretion.
