Until recently travel wasn't something that I gave much thought to anyway, and where I stayed if I were in transit was pretty much determined by price and location. My husband has major wanderlust and a taste for comfort however.
Can someone explain the star rating system that hotels use to me please? I understand the the higher the number of stars the more pleased hotel management is with the grade that they have received, but I do not understand what exactly distinguishes one level from the next.
