I will be at DL for the first time with my family in October from 12-17. I believe there may be some sort of Halloween party on while we are there. We don't celebrate Halloween in Australia so it would be cool to join in with whatever the celebrations are. My kids are 11 & 7.

Can you tell me about it, how I get tickets, what you love about it, etc.

Thanks so much

I don't know much about this, but I feel sorry for orphan threads! :goodvibes

I do know that at DLR it is called Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party. The other name is what they call it at WDW. I know you can dress up and it is at DCA.

AP holders can buy ticket now and I found this on the Disney site in the AP holders section:

This "spirited" event at Disney's California Adventure® Park includes:

Amazing attractions to get you spinning, looping and free-falling!
Lively music to boogie your bones!
Special treat stations where you can scare up some goodies!
Creepy crafts and activities for some frightful fun!
A nightly Character cavalcade.
Plus, lots more spook-tacular entertainment for little boys and ghouls!
Complimentary parking for one vehicle at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure — larger vehicles may require an additional fee.

Price seems to range from $32 to $42. But I don't know when non APs can buy them or how from another country. They will sell them on their site, but I don't know if you can buy them from there. Maybe ask your travel agent if you are using one.

I've never been so I can't tell you more than that. :)

There is a lot of information on this in the thread about "October Check in ...Halloween and More" which I have "bumped" to to this page. : (The information about the party is on page 4 of that thread). As the poster above mentioned, right now tickets are on sale to Annual Passholders (as well as Disney Visa Cardholders). Tickets will go on sale to the general public during August.......The exact date hasn't been announced yet. :-)

Thanks Pinkbudgie & DisneyFan4Ever54. I appreciate you replying.

I will go and check out that thread.

MNSSHP is sooo much fun for the whole family! It is a special event at the DCA that requires a special ticket. They have the whole park decorated for Halloween and there are trick or treat stations all around the park.
We did this with our dd and she just loved it!
Everyone dresses up and you should see the creativity that is involved in those costumes!!!

I've never been to Disneyland for the Holloween parties but have at WDW. I wish Disneyland would do something similar to WDW as we loved it. The biggest things are the spectacular Holloween themed fireworks and parade. At California Adventure they don't do either. But I am told the theming, entertainment and trick or treating is the same. We're going to take a few kids this year but haven't decided on a date yet.
