1st timer here. Going to WDW 9/29. Are we suppose to do ADR's 180 days in advance? I really don't know how/why 180 days play into the ADR's so if someone could explain it to me I would be most grateful.

You are able to make any Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days before your arrival day. It's just like making a reservation at a restaurant in your neighborhood, only your have 6 months ahead of time to do so. It used to be 90 days.

I hope this helps

You can make ADRs 180 days in advance of the date for the reservation.

However, if you are staying at a Disney owned and operated resort you may, 180 days from arrival, make all your ADRs for your entire stay (but not more than 10 days if stasying more than 10). This is one of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort.

You can book 180 days in advance if you are staying at a on-site WDW owned hotel like Chesire Figment said ^.

Ok. got it. I need to get started, have alot of planning, reading to do on different restaurants at WDW. Thank goodness for this board and all you wonderful people. :thumbsup2
