Hi-ho, hi-ho only a few more days to go!

I missed out on the Anna & Elsa fp+ :confused3 so:

Day 1 MK
Anna/Elsa
Winnie Pooh
Carousel
Peter Pan fp+10:30
It's a Small World
Mine Train fp+11:30
Mad Tea Party
Space Mtn fp+12:30
CRT@1:30
break

Day 2 MK
Buzz Lightyear
Barnstormer
Dumbo
The Little Mermaid
Splash Mtn. FP+10:15
Big Thunder Mtn. FP+11:15
counter service lunch
Enchanted Tales with Bell FP+12:50
break

My goal is to minimize walking for grandparents while still getting most of the little kids' favorites done before nap. Most of the rest of the things on our must do list, could be done anytime I hope!

thanks!

To get Anna and Elsa and be done by first faspass you better be there at least an hour before rope drop and go back as fast as possible. Yesterday and hour in it was already a 3 hour wait.

We just got back from our trip and were in the same boat as you. The only difference is we did not have to worry about naps but did leave the park one of our second days by 4:00pm but we added the 3:00pm parade to that day.
My suggestion is to try to limit yourself to half the park one day and the other half the second day. Try to do all of Fantasy Land except Elsa and Anna at Rope Drop. We went straight to the little Mermaid first thing and then followed the path. We did Pooh, Peter Pan. It's a Small World, and Haunted Mansion all be for 11:00am. We did all of these with out a FP. We pretty much got right on or had a small wait. You can do the Carosel instead of Haunted Mansion. You could fit in your FP for Mine Train there as well. Switch out your FP with PP for Buzz instead. but do Tea party right before your FP for Buzz. Then you can fit in your FP for Space Mountain
Second day go directly to Elsa and Anna . If you have a runner do it. That line was long by the time we walked to Fantasy land at Rope Drop. We could not walk very fast but we were not crawling either and yet the line was already getting long. Next do Dumbo and Barnstormer followed by your FP for Splash and Big Mountain. You will have to back track to get to Belle unless you can change your FP so they go opposite as you have them. For example Belle then Splash and Big Mountain. Some nice QS restrauants in that areas as well.
I would also suggest offering the grandparents a chance to sit and relax some where while you guys wait for Elsa and Anna if it is a bit of a wait. We took my parents (the grandparents) and for my mom it was standing that bothered her most. It can be done though. We are living proof. Due to planning we never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes. We also planned it so we did not have to do any back tracking. Hopefuly you will get some other peoples advice. There is also a program some where that you can plug in variables and they will tell you an estimated wait time and time to get to each ride. I wish I now what the program was, Another person on these boards helped me out with that program and I can not thank them enough. Good Luck on your trip and be sure to do the same when you return to help other families out. Have Fun Guys!!!!!

I like your advice. I always try to do too much! Standing also bothers my Mom. She's has a hip issue. I wish I'd been paying attention to get a fp for A&E! I think I will try to switch my fp for Belle. Unfortunately, mde website has been very glitchy today! Thanks for the advice!

Wow my mom has has the same problem. It took a lot of planning but it is doable. I feel like you. this may have been our only trip to Disney and I wanted to do what ever we could so the kids could see a lot. I truly understand your situation. We just got very very lucky to get a FP for Elsa and Anna. I just happened to be on the boards when some one announced that the FP were up otherwise I too would have missed it. Some people say they are gone in minutes and that is at 12:00am on the 60th day out. I have read on another post that some people are having better luck going late to do stand by for Elsa and Anna. If you guys notice the wait is too long in the AM you can alway go back to MK after nap time and try then. I think they go until 5:00pm. Today may not be the best time to get on MDE website. It would not even let me in to check my photos. I called and they said it should be fixed within the next 12 hours so you may want to try again tomorrow. Keep checking the web site for Elsa and Anna. People change their plans and you might get lucky. Most of all have a great trip!

What time does the park open on your visitng day?

What would concern me is the line for A&E, which could be lengthy. As someone else said, be there an hour ahread of RD and be prepared to leave your parents so you can hustle back to be one of the first for A&E. Hopefully there is someone else in your party who can walk with your parents or they know the park and can get there on their own.

Other than that concern, i like your plan. also, would your parents enjoy Carousel of Progress? It's a nice, long, cool break from the heat and standing/walking.

Park opens at 9 on both days we'll be there. I liked the advice to move A&E to the second day. Honestly, if we show up and the line is past an hour, my youngest is pretty smart and will see the logic in doing other things even if we miss seeing A&E. I think it would be pretty much impossible to get all 9 of us there an hour before rope drop! And, believe me if we leave the grandparents without an adult we may never find them again, lol!

New plan is to do all we can fit in of Fantasyland prior to fp time for space/buzz. We have CRT ressies for late lunch. Second day we'll head straight for A&E, do anything else we missed from FL and then head to FP for Splash & Thunder. We like the afternoon break & then coming back & staying late. I think the nap will be for the grandparents more than the kids! :rotfl:
