Spreading Some Pixie Dust Today!

I agree, some are lazy.
We made pins for an organization this past weekend. We were told to show up one time then they cut back our time by an hour as they said they were overwhelmed with volunteers. When we showed up there were only about 12 people and of those, it was mostly moms and really little kids (that i would be surprised if they could do the pin making or pull their weight
) BUT, they were all Really trying 
and in my book, thats what counts! 
We felt bad that they did not have more for us to make, even volunteering to come back another day, but they said they were satisfied and so appreciative of the volunteers, made US feel good!
I actually dropped them an email asking them to keep us in mind for any additional help they needed. It FEELS GOOD to make a difference, no matter how small.
WOoHoo to ALL of you guys volunteering!
We signed up for two other places so my DS can get some community hours in...a great way to network for opportunities we'd otherwise not have known about.
As an aside, we were told Disney is taking about 2 weeks to process....
