From Mousesavers:One key caveat for the Magic Kingdom: taxis, on-demand ride services and private vehicles can’t drop off or pick up at the Magic Kingdom front gates; their designated drop-off area is across the lake at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), and then guests take a monorail or ferry to the main gate. Most of the time it is easier to just get dropped off or picked up at the Contemporary (or the Bay Lake Tower, right next door) and take the walkway that connects the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main gate, which is only about 5 minutes longer than the walk from the furthest bus stop at the Magic Kingdom. Occasionally, the Contemporary will turn away anyone who isn’t staying there, to keep traffic congestion down, and then you’ll most likely have to head to the standard dropoff point at the TTC.

There is Taxi Pickup at Epcot, so you wouldn't need to go to TTC for Epcot.

Thanks. I didn't think about that. Contemporary would make better sense.
Any ideas for the other parks? I didn't know Epcot has a taxi pickup area.

All the parks do. Taxi and passenger drop off. Only MK is located in a secondary location (TTC) because no private cars can drive to MK

Hi Everyone,

I know the lyft/uber questions have been beaten to death. The other thread was just wayyy too much information to go through.

So I will be staying at ASSports and just wondering if I was at any of the parks and wanted to get a lyft. Where will I need to be to get picked up?

MK/Epcot - TCC?
Animal Kingdom?
Hollywood?

Thanks. I am guessing there won't be Minnie Vans available. Honestly, I think it's just too pricey. I had plans to use the Express Bus Transportation, but they got rid of it.

The first post in the other thread lists the pick-up and drop-off locations. I understand not wanting to read the entire thread, but why not read the first page or two?

In OP's defense, the main thread was started more than two years ago and there have been significant changes in those two years. Just sayin'...

I appreciate the defense. I felt like I was being attacked when two consecutive replies are telling me to read before asking. If I had the time, I would be on disboards 24/7, but unfortunately, I do not have all the time in the world after my fiancee got injured and her mom got into a car accident all while I am juggling between scheduling her doctors (3 doctors) appointments, therapies, searching to buy a new home, searching for a car to replace the totaled car.
It's not that I don't take the time to read, but when I do a search on this forum I get back 10 pages of results to go through.

I have the hardest time finding the appropriate boards for things. I think the search functionality is wonky....I swear sometimes threads I've posted on don't show up with the key word that should return the result.

I will suggest changing your thread title and first post from 'PLEASE DELETE'. There was really no reason to delete your post and that title is a guarantee someone wrote something they didn't think they should. Since @Lewisc quoted your post, everyone can still see it anyway.

Please don't stop asking questions Simon. The search often doesn't work. Also most people on here want to chat and share their findings. If it was just a case of finding what's already written it would be very boring!

I know you said you're out, but just in case you're still reading...

OK, this post is another prime example. Because someone disagrees with you or doesn't like your question doesn't mean you're being attacked or judged. If you're going to get this upset because you don't like the responses, I'll say it again, a public message board probably isn't a good forum (no pun intended) for you. And even if you aren't actually getting upset, that's how I'm reading the posts.

ETA: Mods don't delete threads because the OP doesn't like the responses. They delete threads if they violate board guidelines.
