Dinner:

San Angel Inn
Mama Melrose
Concourse Steakhouse
Le Cellier
CRT
O'hana
Chefs de France or Coral Reef (opinions)

*plan to do all counter service for lunch

Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey's and possible Crystal Palace

Will these please both a 4 year old and us? We have eaten only at Le Cellier and Chefs de France. I can't remember is Chefs de France would appeal to a preschooler.

Thanks

All Disney restaurants offer traditional kids items, such as chicken, mac n cheese and hot dogs.

I think your choices are great! We just did the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose's in July and really enjoyed it! We will definitely do that one again!

I heard that 'Ohana is changing their menu, so if you've eaten there before and are expecting one thing, you might be disappointed. If you've never eaten there, then you'll be going with a fresh perspective!

Have a great trip!!!

Sounds good....

I would say Coral Reef over Chefs de France. The atmosphere of Coral Reef is great and your DS4 will love it with the aquarium.

Have you thought about maybe doing a couple of table services for lunch? I know when we went we did almost all of our table services as dinner. After a few days I wished we had done a few lunch table services instead. We ate an early CS lunch and sometimes when it was time for our dinner PS (or ADR now) we were not that hungry. Just something else to think about.

The only place on your list I have ate at is 'Ohanas. I loved it, it is one of my favorites.

All of your choices are great. I would choose Coral Reef over Chefs de France for the 4 year old too, because of the aquarium, although for adults, Chefs would be my choice. (I looove french cuisine)

If I went to Coral Reef, I'd make sure I had lunch one day (and sat outside in the courtyard) at the patisserie behind Chefs de France (you exit from Impressions de France directly onto the street where this counter service, cafeteria style restaurant is located)...not sure what its official name is, but it has good sandwiches and really nice desserts...something for everyone's waistline!

The Concourse Steakhouse is probably the restaurant with the least amount of ambiance, although it is convenient if you are staying there. The food is good but nothing too special or different from home. I might decide on a dinner at Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lodge) for the 4 year old instead...it won't be romantic or quiet, but they do have fun with the diners, especially children. Perhaps you are looking forward to a quiet normal evening however...everyone has his/her reasons for choosing a particular restaurant!

We were considering doing CS for all lunches simply because we thought our son would want to nap right around lunch time and I wasn't sure how to plan for that since lunch might go over.

Thanks for the feedback on Coral Reef. Maybe we'll try Coral Reef with our son, and spend a night out alone at Chefs de France.

Should we skip one of the character breakfasts? Is one enough?

We're on the dining plan so we will have to pay if we do the Fantasmic package. How much is it? Is it worth paying the extra?

Thanks again!
