Please critique/advise my honeymoon/holiday ADR's!

Just wondering if anyone had any critique on my honeymoon ADR's. We are getting married the week before Christmas and staying through the holidays and we are so excited!!

Alot of our ADR's are new places to us, and we based most of our choices on the theming. We have enjoyed all TS restaurants we have been to so far. CS has been 50/50. My DF will eat anything. I, on the other hand, tend to be more picky though I do eat a variety. I love sandwiches (turkey clubs are my favorite, as long as the turkey is not slimy or fatty ), hummus, dumplings, chicken, pork, tender steak, non "fishy-tasting" fish, salads, many soups. No a big pasta fan. I get grossed out by certain textures (especially bad quality or fatty meat). I also despise foods that are drenched in sauce and I dislike most sauces, except for tomato sauce. I am not a big fan of sugary sweets, except for soft cookies, gingerbread, caramel corn, and most things banana-related.

We are staying CL so all breakfasts will be in the CL lounge.

Anyways, please share any thoughts, suggestions, or critiques you might have-thanks!

Sunday: Wedding day & check in to Polynesian CL): We are having a lunch reception, so we were thinking we would not be hungry for a big meal for dinner.
Dinner: We were thinking of just popping down to Captain Cook's for dinner. We have eaten here before and I love their turkey club sandwiches!

Monday: No park day, though we might cave and pop into one briefly .
Lunch: We are thinking of hanging out at our hotel and visiting the other hotels. Any particular hotel counter service you would recommend?
Dinner: We have ADR's for Artist's Point. It will be our fist time eating here.

Tuesday: DAK Day-
Lunch: Not sure where to eat-any suggestions?? We've only been to DAK once and we ate at Pizzafari. It was good, but we wouldn't mind trying something new, just to try.
Dinner: will be at Yak & Yeti's. Our first time eating there and I'm thinking of paying OOP because the only thing on the menu that appeals to me is the Dim Sum platter for two.
*Snack: Either a frozen banana or the jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel.
Wednesday: MK Day-
Lunch: Not sure where to eat lunch-any suggestions? We are thinking of going to Columbia Harbour House. We have eaten there before and tried the tuna sandwich, but we did not care for it. I was thinking of trying the hummus sandwich, since I'm a big fan of hummus.
Dinner: We have ADR's at The Plaza. I know it seems boring (or so I've heard), but we were interested in trying something new.

Thursday: DHS day-We are also checking out of the Poly this day and checking into the Wilderness Lodge Honeymoon Suite!
Lunch: The never ending question of where to eat lunch! We tried Starring Rolls and I do not like the sandwich-the texture of the meat grossed me out for some reason. What do you think of Backlot Express or Catalina Eddie's?? We were also thinking maybe lunch would be a good time to leave DHS for a bit and head to the WL to check in and maybe grab lunch along the way. Any suggestions?
Dinner: We have late ADR's at 50's Prime Time Cafe about 50 minutes after Fantasmic. We figured it would take about this long to migrate out of Fantasmic over to 50's PTC. We have been here a few times before and it has become sort of our tradition every trip. I'm definately trying the pot roast this time!

Friday: Epcot Day
Lunch: We have lunch ADR's at San Angel Inn. Our first time here but I am a huge fan of the Mexico boat ride and have been dying to eat here since I was a little girl No clue what to order. Most things on the menu look like they are drowned in sauce. I was thinking the ribeye tacos if they are still on the menu.
Dinner: Tangierine Cafe. My alltime favorite CS in Epcot!

Saturday: Christmas Eve!
Lunch: We currently have ADR's for Rose & Crown, but we are unsure if we want to keep them?? We have early dinner ADR's so we are planning to eat light. R&C seemed appealing because it seemed like a very "Charles Dickens" way to spend Christmas Eve LOL!
Dinner: We have ADR's for Hoop De Doo Revue! Our first time and I'm so excited!

Sunday: Christmas!
Lunch: We have ADR's for the Garden View Tea Room. First time eating here.
Dinner: What better way to spend Christmas night and our last night in the world than at California Grill for dinner and fireworks!

Monday: Departure Day but we are staying until early evening
Lunch: We were thinking about heading to DTD and trying Earl of Sandwich. I've been curious!

What do you think? Any critiques or advice is welcome!

Also, any recommended snacks?

Great Choices! You might want to try Flamtree at DAK, one of my favorite CS. The BBQ is great and if you don't care for that they have an awesome turkey sandwich. Wonderful outdoor area, very relaxing.
I love the ABC commissary at the studios, food is good and plenty of indoor seating.
You will LOVE Earl of Sandwich great variety and yummy!!!!

Thank you!! I think we will take your advice and try Flame Tree BBQ to try something different. My DF loves pulled pork and I see this on the menu as well.

We have only tried CC's, but Contempo Cafe (CR) and Gasparilla's (GF) both get raves as well. Have you considered having lunch at Kona? It is one of my very favorite spots in WDW for lunch, and it is right in your lobby. I've also read great things about GF Cafe.Dinner: We have ADR's for Artist's Point. It will be our fist time eating here. We had a great meal here in 2008. Beautiful, relaxing, romantic, delicious!

Lunch: Not sure where to eat-any suggestions?? We've only been to DAK once and we ate at Pizzafari. It was good, but we wouldn't mind trying something new, just to try. I agree with PP Flame Tree BBQ! The ribs are not saucy at all, you almost have to add more sauce, which is avail. at the condiments stations.Dinner: will be at Yak & Yeti's. Our first time eating there and I'm thinking of paying OOP because the only thing on the menu that appeals to me is the Dim Sum platter for two. Worst dining experience at WDW in our experience. If that's really the only thing on the menu that appeals to you, why go? I'd do Tusker House, Jiko, or Boma on the AK day.*Snack: Either a frozen banana or the jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel.

We had a really nice Buffalo Chicken Sandwich at Studio Catering Company, and Backlot Express has a yummy grilled veggie sandwich. The problem is every place seems to have one good option, not a list of good things to choose from, if you know what I mean?Dinner: We have late ADR's at 50's Prime Time Cafe about 50 minutes after Fantasmic. Lunch: We have lunch ADR's at San Angel Inn. Our first time here but I am a huge fan of the Mexico boat ride and have been dying to eat here since I was a little girl No clue what to order. We had dinner there, though, the lunch menu is different. Nothing was overly sauced. If you drink cocktails, you MUST have a Margarita here!!Dinner: Tangierine Cafe. My alltime favorite CS in Epcot! Ours too! Can't wait!
Saturday: Christmas Eve!
Lunch: We currently have ADR's for Rose & Crown, but we are unsure if we want to keep them?? We have early dinner ADR's so we are planning to eat light. Would love to try Kona for lunch, but we did not budget for a lunch TS. We have actually eaten at Kona for breakfast before and loved it though!

DAK: We have already tried Tusker House (lunch & dinner) & Boma dinner many times in the past. Love them both, but we want to try something new. I would love to try Jiko, but we will be eating with friends and we are all on the DDP and cannot fit in another signature meal for this trip. My DF found plenty to eat when he was looking at the menu; me not so much, but I am a big fan of dumplings and dim sum. **Could you elaborate a bit on what made your dining experience so bad there??

The Plaza: We really want to stay in the park for dinner that day. Plus, my parents tried the Wave and did not care for it.....

San Angel: I will definitely have to try a margarita! I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy a good margarita!

Would love to try Kona for lunch, but we did not budget for a lunch TS. We have actually eaten at Kona for breakfast before and loved it though! Sorry I didn't realize you are on the DDP...lunch items are pretty reasonably priced at Kona, so OOP it wouldn't cost much more than a CS meal.

The food was good until I felt something very strange in my mouth...it was the tip of a latex glove from one of the kitchen workers! When I told our server, she offered me a free dessert (no big deal since we were on the DDP). Then DH asked to see a manager and they "comped" one full TS credit, which really didn't matter since we are a family of 4 and weren't going to plan another whole meal for all of us because of one free credit. Since it isn't Disney-operated, we just let it go. I'm just so grossed out that I can't even think of going back there, no matter how good the food reviews are. I can get good chinese food at home anyway, no need to go there! On the plus side, I did not get hepatitis!

The Plaza: We really want to stay in the park for dinner that day. Plus, my parents tried the Wave and did not care for it.....I'm sure the plaza will be good. The atmosphere in there is great! We just really prefer the food at the monorail resorts, and getting there and back is so easy, especially CR, since walking is an option. Again, the GF cafe is a quick and lovely boat ride away, and the atmosphere in there is beautiful also...I just think you'd get a better quality meal, and a better value for your TS credits, at a resort. If saving time is the more important goal, then The Plaza is a great option!

San Angel: I will definitely have to try a margarita! I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy a good margarita! My favorite is the avocado margarita. I know it sounds strange, but it doesn't taste avocado-y at all. The avocado lends an extremely smooth and creamy texture. I can't wait to have another in 4 weeks!

For your other QS lunch I would recommend the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. we stayed there last year and had some amazing food.

I loved the Cheese Steak sandwich, DF had the pizza and the Chicken fajitas were delicious. Plus it feels more like a table service than any of the other QS places.

Also remember Disney are very accomodating, if it looks like it comes with lots of sauce just ask for less or to have it on the side

I've heard about the Pepper Market but never tried it. I do love that resort though, so that may be a great little venture for us to take!

Yup, I'm definitely a sandwich girl-give me a good quality turkey club and I'm a happy girl! I have to remind myself to ask the waiter "sauce on the side" for everything.....often times I'll see a dish & it will not even occur to me that it's going to have a sauce on it until it arrives and it's swimming in it!

On your DHS day you could go over to the Y&BC or BW, just a Friendship Launch ride away

We did The Plaza and it was a nice place to just sit and relax. I think a lot of ppl overlook it (must be that it is not overly themed and tucked in a corner) so it is not the madhouse other TS seems to be
