I have an ADR for a MNSSHP night at 6:40 p.m. We will be in the Magic Kingdom that day but aren't staying for the party. We can keep that reservation, right? I thought I had read that as long as the reservation was for before 7 p.m. you were good. What if the restaurant is running behind?

Not a problem. You can keep the reservation because it is before the park closes at 7:00.

You'll be arriving before 6:40 at the restaurant to check in so even if the restaurant is running behind schedule you'll be seated. If you show up at 7:00 or later and try to check in, then you will be turned away because at this point the park is closed and you missed your res time.

Agreed. Yes you can keep it. It wouldn't matter if the restaurant is running behind. As long as you check in on time, that's what matters.

You can keep it as long as you arrive at the restaurant and check in before 7 PM. They will ask you to leave the park when you finish your meal.
