We've been to alot of WDW places..this trip I wanted to see if I could do all new ones (for us) - here is a list of what I am considering, please give me your opinion if you've been to one or more of them, thanks!
Tokyo Dining (dinner)
Cape May (breakfast)
Bongo's (Lunch)
Hoop Dee Doo Review (Dinner)
Kouzzina (Dinner)
The Wave (Dinner)
Narcoossee's (Dinner)
Kona Cafe (Dinner)

Also, for the places that have a view of either MK or Epcot fireworks, what would be the best Ressie time for earlt November to watch from the restaurant?

OK..so, noone has tried any of these? Maybe we should stick with the ones we know then

cape may calmabake- we loved there breakfast and the character interaction was great. dinner is good as w. the kids love the fact they can color on the paperlined tables.

Hoopdedu- is a funny show for all ages, fried chicken and ribs are yummy, strawberry shortcake for dessert very good as well.

Narcosses- we really enjoyed our meal here, we made it to where we could watch wishes from the porch. We are doing it again for the last night of our trip.

Kona Cafe - loved the food here!!! I had the pomegranate pork chop and it was amazing, and my DH had mahi mahi and we loved it. We were able to get frozen drinks on the DDP instead of sodas here.

The Wave - also loved the food here too, we both had steaks. The mashed potatoes were amazing, I still have dreams about them! The desserts, not so much though but it didn't matter -the meals were amazing.

The only one I can speak for is Kona Cafe. Great food, atmosphere kind of lacking. I prefer Ohana.

Kona and HDDR ate 2 of our favorites! :cheer2:We are planning on try ing the Wave on our upcoming trip!:woohoo:

So far out of your list.. I have only been to Kona (and Cape May, but that was for dinner) and while I did enjoy Kona for both breakfast and dinner, I prefer the breakfast. For dinner I'd rather go to 'Ohana than Kona.

Narcoossee's - We had dinner here once. It was nice but I didn't think it was that special. It's pretty and the meal was ok but not somewhere we'll go again.

HDDR is GREAT!!! It is our favorite dining experience in all the world. It is slapstick Vaudeville humor, so if you're not into that, you might not "get" it (though the unlimited beer, wine, sangria might help ;)).

We loved Kona for lunch, but haven't tried dinner yet. The Poly is our favorite resort, so it's worth a visit just to check out the resort in the evening. You can watch EWP from the beach before or after your dinner (depending on your timing). EWP is always at 9PM, Wishes varies with the day of the week and time of year. You can find out what time Wishes is showing by going to the calendar on the WDW website and clicking on the date for parade, FW times.

Have a great trip!

Thank you all!! I'm getting excited about my choices!! Now I just need to wait for that 180 day window!
Any other thoughts?

I know you put dinner for Kouzzina but I ate breakfast there and must say it was yummy

Kouzzina (breakfast) Spinach, Tomato, and Feta Scrambled Eggs, with a (spicy) Bloody Mary Mmm Mmm

Tokyo Dining (dinner)
Cape May (breakfast) Good breakfast, basic breakfast things, character interaction and service was good
Bongo's (Lunch)
Hoop Dee Doo Review (Dinner) My kids love it and love the food. Fried chicken, ribs, cornbread strawberry shortcake. It's a slapstick vaudeville type show
Kouzzina (Dinner) the food was ok. Nothing special, not bad, not great
The Wave (Dinner)
Narcoossee's (Dinner) Again the food was good, nothing special. Didn't think it merited 2TS
Kona Cafe (Dinner) Good food, but the restaurant felt very crowded

I commented on the ones in which we have eaten.

them, thanks!
Tokyo Dining (dinner) - We are trying this for the first time next month. I love good tempura!

Cape May (breakfast) - this is tasty and our favorite pre-cruise breakfast :) Love seeing all the characters.

Narcoossee's (Dinner) - I really like eating here but haven't found an entree yet that I really like (have eaten here 3 times). The lobster bisque is really fantastic and the desserts are good too. But the best part is the view of Wishes from the patio.

Kona Cafe (Dinner) - YUM! I got the sticky wings appetizer for my entree on the DDP (they let it count and it's a LOT of wings). They have really good desserts here too. And the bread at dinner is similar to the bread at Ohana's!

As for fireworks view - I would check to see what time the fireworks are going to be that night and make my ressie for 1 - 1.5 hour before. Next month we are eating at Ohana at 855 when wishes is at 10 - we will probably show up a few mins early and see if we can be seated. If we are done eating before the fireworks - we'll just watch them from the beach.

We loved Kona too! I thought it was the best meal I've had at Disney. I had the tuna and it was AMAZING!

HDDR was good....my DD then 3 enjoyed it....I don't think we will do it again for few yrs.

Kona is one of my and DH favorite places for both Breakfast and Dinner!

We have been to Bongos twice. It's one of my husband's favorite restaurants at DTD. Mojitos - YUM! and my DS had an outstanding shrimp dish - Shrimp in Garlic Sauce - Camarones al Ajillo. I really liked the Skirt Steak Cuban style - the Chimi Churri sauce was outstanding. Be sure to call for reservation (yes they take them!) We called 2 days before we were going, and it really makes a difference. Our first time there, no ressies, and we waited forever!

We've been to Kona and the Wave; I didn't love the atmosphere for some reason at Kona but the food was good. We thought the Wave was out of this world (pun intended) . . .great food and cocktails. Breakfast was just as excellent as dinner.

Cape May Cafe: Love the food, but no longer do buffets at Disney. I have just seen too many gross things happen in the buffet lines.

The Wave: Nice atmospere. Decent food.

Narcoossee's: Way over priced for mediocre fish (usually don't get sticker shock, especially if the food is worth it). Had an ADR but still waited over an hour. Much prefer Flying Fish at the BW. But you have to do Narcoosee's at least once for the excellent ambience and setting. Very noisy, though.

Kona Cafe: Really like this restaurant.

I would choose hoop dee doo!:thumbsup2
I have eaten there many times and the show is fun. there is also a buffet next door called the trails end.

My husband does not like new experiences and I do so since im the one who makes all the ressies and all the planning I decided that I wanted to go to the Hoopdie doo review and he whined and complained but went anyway..Well I have to tell u he had the BEST experience there and now its a MUST DO every time we go down now:lmao: So for that resturantant I say as I told my husband lets try it and if u dont like it then we will scratch it forever but do it for the kids.. And they had a great time also my oldest is 21 and his girlfriend and my girls are 11 and 6 so its great for all ages.. Go and enjoy....
