I've built a nine-room ride. I've never opened my ride before. I do not understand how I can be in the first room to allow people to enter the ride, AND be in the last room to welcome my guests.

So, after you are done giggling at stupor-woman here, would you please teach me?

Lol, DaraSue nice work. (you finally finished your ride?!) Just remember its not as bad as me forgetting what I was supposed to trade to you about six times! Keep that in mind and it should make you laugh quite a bit.

Anyways, you could have a friend greet them at one end of the slide while you are at the other. Or you could have made it so that your ride ends in the same place it began. The second idea is what I would have done.

Well, since it starts and ends in two different rooms, and I'm not gonna redesign it after all I went through to put it together, I think I'll go with the friend idea.

DH's character will be in opening room and I'll be in the ending room.

Lol, sometimes you feel like you need to have virtual schizophrenia in VMK; collecting credits or hanging with friends or host events??

Well you could add a little on to the river and put a teleporter in the room and teleport it back to the start of the room only cost a couple thousand

Make like a little river or just a teleporter off to the side and keep going back and forth

make it a river loop so you can float through, wave & say hi, thank people for stopping by, and float back to the other room where you'll do the same thing.

..and you'll understand why spiels can get boring after awhile.

Making a circuit out of your ride is the best possible way to make the ride a success. While giving 1 guest access back to the lobby from the exit may be no big deal, but what about 10 guests enjoying the attraction? Why not bring them back and not only hope for a "Cool ride" comment, but also new riders from the continuous flow you have now created?

If things go REALLY well.. the attraction will stay open and run itself while you're off doing other stuff.
