Please clarify what happens if I cancel

I have 2 separate contracts and want to clarify something before making reservations:

50 points coming December 2012 (using all 50)
29 points from April 2012 (using all 29)
171 points coming April 2012 (borrowing 13)

If I'm making a January 2013 reservation, and use these points and have to cancel:
- the 50 December points are returned to my account untouched?
- the 29 April points go into holding?
- the 13 borrowed points from my 171 April 2013 are considered borrowed and can't be returned? When do they have to be used by?

It depends on when you cancel. Points only go into holding if you cancel 30 days or less prior to arrival. If you book now and have to cancel prior to December 1, you can still bank the April UY points to 2013. The 13 borrowed points will have to be used by 03/31/13 or be lost forever.
